excitement

I've got PIPS!!!! Many many MANY thanks to Thimbleanna for hooking me up with these fat quarters. How I will EVER cut into these little lovelies??? I do not have a clue. Anna, you are a darling! I'm seriously excited for this fabric.
I'm also seriously excited because I've packed up my Juki (in my super cute new suitcase!) and I'm headed to COLORADO!!! I'm teaching (machine quilting) at a retreat this weekend. My stomach has been flip flopping all day. I'm very excited. And a little bit nervous, too.

See you in a few days!

Edited to Add: My suitcase came from Target. It can be found here.

how did you get Sherbet Pips so early?!?! Your are the third blogger I've seen with these adorable fabrics, yet I thought they weren't supposed to come out until 2011. Lucky girl! I can't wait to get some to play with.

Good luck at your retreat this weekend! You are going to rock it!

I hope you enjoy your class. I bet if you relax and just be yourself, it will be a smashing success. I wish I could be a fly on the wall. Better yet, I wish I were going to be there too!

On a separate note, I thought of you today as I was ripping out some quilting. It's so helpful to know that you too change your mind and use a seam ripper.

Please tell us where you found that suitcase! I was just at the sewing machine store today and all they had were ugly, tapestry bags with vines and grapes. YUCK! That one is seriously CUTE!

How did you get your Juki in that suitcase??? I have a Juki TL98Q and I can't even get it to fit in the soft case that came with it. Must be doing something wrong here. Do you take the thread holders off? In any case, wish I were going to your workshop. Hope it's wonderful.

Another question on the suitcase and sewing machine relationaship. Is this a machine bag or a normal suitcase? If tha latter, how do you pack your machine? and a previously asked, do you check it?

I just crawled out of the computer-less cave I've been in for about a month now and was so excited that you're traveling to teach another class! Have a wonderful time away from home, doing what you love to do.

By the way, if you're looking for a monochromatic quilt color, may I recommend gray? It's the first color that popped in my head when I saw the post before this one, and then I saw a photo you posted several days prior with some fantastic grays in it. I think it would be really pretty and sophisticated.

Hi, I love your blog!
I am looking for a new quilting machine and am very interested to know about your JUKI. Would it be possible for you to write about it on your blog as I am sure others are also interested. I live in Israel and will need 220volts and whenever I look at Juki's website I cannot find anything suitable that has a walkingfoot, drops the feed dogs and even maybe a stitch regulator :) and has a very wide throat. I appreciate and info you can pass on to me. Thanks and warmest regards. Keep up YOUR great work. Sara

I was just reading through your blog and see that I just missed you coming to Ft. Collins - so sad! I've been loving your quilts for the past year and would have loved to have gone to your class. You mentioned you would be doing it again next year - did you mean in Ft. Collins again??
