tiny ticker tape quilt, 16" x 20"and it's for my girl. :)
the cradle was a $1.oo garage sale find this past summer.
and this is what happens after washing.
there is something so satisfying about using up every last bit of fabric. (each piece measures about 1" x 2".) i think i could make about 100 of these.
if you are interested in making one of these yourself, there is a little tutorial
here.

Cute, cute, cute!!!
Oh my gosh, that is just adorable! I may have to make one for my daughter's baby dolls, she would love it too.
I love that!
So cute! I had a cradle just like that when I was a little girl-thankfully my mom has saved it so my girls can use it too! I like the ticker tape quilt idea but I like it even more when it is that small-a bit more manageable.
super cute... but you could make 100 of them because you like to do it, or you have the scraps to do so? I would miss all the other exciting things you do if you made 100 of these :)
I LOVE this! Thanks for sharing!
This is so cute. My daughter loves scraps. I hope I can convince her to make it.
I bet you could find 100 people willing to accept these! very cute!
...love it!
You know how I love this scrap quilts!
I was thinking of these as I cut scraps on the weekend. Another stellar finish!
Love it!
So cute! This is why I can never bring myself to throw out even the smallest scrap- I will have to try one for myself.
I can't wait to make two of these for my sons!
So cute!

Lovely!
I absolutely LOVE this quilt. I saved a picture of it from your blog on my bookmarks tab so I could look at it any time... then my computer broke and after the techs fixed it , I lost my old bookmarks on Mozilla! I just popped by your blog to try to find the post - and there's a new post right at the top of your list! How lucky am I?! Thanks, AmandaJean. Ann :)
I'm curious to know if you have instructions for this quilt?
Perfect use!
(You could probably "sell" 100 of those - they are tiny & perfect.)
Amanda Jean! You are amazing. Full of wonderful ideas. I'm always so excited to see your posts.
Oh it's so cute! I just gave myself permission to stop saving my crumbs. I guess i have to rethink that, these are too cute!
too cute! I thought the big one was cool - but rather daunting to tackle. This size would be perfect for a try out, and would put to use all thos elittle bits I have. Thanks for the inspiration!
That is a really cute idea. Thanks!
So Cute! I loved your larger size one too. I'm not sure I have the patience to try it.
If, and that's a big IF, I was ever to make a "ticker tape" quilt I think I could only do one this size. You are crazy (in a good way) for your big version. Just beautiful!
How cute is this quilt what a great way to use you stash. If I do one it will be the size you did. Thanks
Such a sweet quilt!
I have always loved this quilt of yours. I think the first time I saw your blog you had posted the bigger version, and I was hooked. This one is adorable, too.
I LOVE your Tiny Ticker Tape!
I'm into letting the 'deconstructed' look on some things & I really like this idea . . . looks so fab in a small size too! Thankyou for sharing!
Cheers
Wendy
I just love this idea so much! It's great to be able to use up all those itty bitty little scraps!
I think this idea would work to make some inexpensive, adorable little quilts to take to my local animal shelters too. They are always in need of blankets for the animals:-)
Love it!! I believe I need to make one of these! I have tonnes of little tiny scraps that I can't bear to throw out hehe
So cute and homemade cozy!
cute! maybe I will try this idea someday. I keep all the scraps big enough to hold a seam allowance and still show some fabric on the front.
I make something like this on T-shirts (actually pj tops). I love the little ragged edges.

Love it! That's adorable...adding yet another one of yours to my to-do list!
such a cute way to use scraps!
Sweet! So, it's a whole cloth quilt with the pieces sewn/quilted to the top of the three layers... right? I think my scrap bin is calling my name...
I love the mini version! You are so thrifty, I envy you using up all that fabric!
LOVE IT!
Now I need another bin to hold all my teeny tiny bits! Super cute
So cute! I may have try this for christmas!
Very, VEEERY cute!:)
what a sweet way to use scrapps! i love it! how do you did it? is like apliqque?
That's wonderful! Thanks for sharing it.
It's such a fantastic idea!! Isn't making things for your kids so satisfying? I love that Tade points out to everyone that I made it. He's got no concept of how much his knowledge of that means to me! And it's funny when he sees something that I COULD have made and assumes that I made that too!
This is my first time visiting your blog (I'm a newbie quilter) and I love it. Your quilts are awesome.
I opened up the close up pic of the post-washed ticker tape quilt and I have the floral yellow fabric on the right hand side. Not sure why I had to share, but I thought I would! :)
It's amazing how tiny little scraps can turn into something so cool. I love the whole idea.
adorable.. yet again! if i didn't think i'd go crazy doing the quilting.. i'd think about making one too!
That is so adorable! I'm working on a doll for my niece... I'm definately making one of those to go with her! Thanks for sharing!!
this is the cutest quilt ever! have you ever made a lap sized one? just curious... I love it!!! I really want to make one. I'm guessing you just sew the scraps onto white fabric?
darling, darling use of scraps!
I would love a little tutorial too! Do you sew the scraps right on to a a piece of fabric that is the finished size of the quilt?
It is so super cute!
Laura

I think I just fell in love with doll quilts.
I think she likes her first doll quilt just as much as I liked mine.

I'm curious as how to make one? layer up white top, batting and backing then glue down the pieces and then sew them on as you quilt thur all the layers??? no? Just curious.. ;) I'm thinking my 5 year old daughter would love helping me make one of these for her baby doll.
Love from Texas! ~bonnie
Totally cute! I found a cradle like that...same color and style! Love it. It wasn't in the family, but I'm saving it for a grand daughter some day...
Lovely!! soo cute!
How cute; I love the texture added from the washing!
That is sooooooooo cute! What a great way to use of scraps of favorite fabrics that are too special to part with.
I'm back again today to say THANK YOU for allowing Sew Mamma Sew to post a tutorial on how to make this up! :) Looks like I wasn't too far off from figuring it out.
I can't wait to work together with my 5 year old this weekend during our "Mommy & Me" time and make one for her dolls out of what ever she wants from my scrap box. :) :)
THanks & Love from Texas!
~bonnie
what a cute mini!!
Do you just eyeball the placement of the patches or do you measure it out? I'm sitting here thinking black and white scraps on a red background :0).
What did you do with the large one?
Happy sewing
Holy adorableness! I love the way all of the "bricks" fit together, yet still remain pretty scrappy. I'll bet it's really fun to work out the puzzle.
Who knew tiny, tiny scraps like that could be turned into something so attractive? Love the look after it's been washed. Looks very "artsy" to me. I'm inspired.
I've got Ticker Tape fever!!!! I have goosebumps - mad love for your mini!!!
awwww...totally sweet!
Darling. I so want to make one of these.
ADORABLE!! This method would be great as table runners, placements or even bags.
Wow, too many ideas flying around in my head now.
Great job, thanks for sharing!!!
I came across your blog through sew mama sew, and I should say that you have an amazing blog. I love all your work. You are an inspiration to all new quilters like me. I will be learning from your tutorials definitely. Thanks again.
I think you should call this quilt Stamp Collection because that is what it looks like, a project you made with a bunch of stamps you salvaged off letters. Gorgeous!!
Adorable! I love the mini size :) So glad your girl does too!

Love this quilt so much, and thanks for the tutorial as well! I fell in love with the bigger one, but this one is probably more my speed. Off topic, but where did you get that gorgeous rag doll? It has the exact same hair as my daughter, so now I must have one, of course. Made or bought?
This is so very cute and special, thanks for sharing
