oooooh!!! I love that quilt!! Great idea. I have a few sheets that I have set aside not sure what to do with them. This is a great idea to keep in mind.
Now I MUST stop chatting as I MUST get back to my assignment.....Star Quilt Along, week 5.
THis is SO funny! We used to have the yellow sheet when I was a kid. I saw it on your post and all sorts of memories came flooding back. Funny thing...can't wait to see your quilt!
What a steal...your thrift sheets. I've not seen anything good enough to use, especially at that price!
I clicked the link and saw the quilt someone had made from sheets. It is simply gorgeous! And, with your expert machine quilting and eye for color/design, your's will be superb! Have fun!
What a stunning vintage sheet quilt! I have a wonderful sheet sitting here waiting to become a quilt back. I just have to make a quilt to match it. :-)
Wow - the quilt you linked to was amazing! Can't wait to see your version. I actually have the sheet on the left in three different color ways!! Let me know if you need some more! :)
Oh that is a good deal!! I'll have to start looking around for some sheets, because that quilt is wonderful! And I know that when I see your take on it, I'll want to make one for myself -or at the very least drem of making one :-)
It is a beatiful vintage quilt! The sheets look so pretty! I have never seen fabrics like that here, it is a pity (or maybe not?! I barely have place to storage fabrics anymore...)What colour are you planning for the squares?
Looks like a great start to your vintage sheet collection, Amandajean. You know how much I'm in favour of such a collection. Vintage sheets do make lovely quilts and I'm certain yours will be gorgeous.

OH YOU ARE! YOU ARE!!! (That deserved all caps!) And I am completely jealous. :-( But I'm still happy for you. :-)
I have a dress made from the sheet on the left.
Yum Vintage. I like it.

I swear, I never find anything decent when I go into thrift stores. Good for you!
I don't know how you ladies do it. I can't thrift fabric or a sheet to save my sanity. They are lovely!

What a wonderful project idea! I'll be scouting for retro sheets!

No wonder you are saving the vintage quilts, that quilt is gorgeous. Someone was having a swap for the vintage sheets. I'm not sure if it is too late.
What a fantastic idea! I can't wait to see the finished project!
ooh, those are lovely!

That is certainly a gorgeous quilt, I can see why you'd want to make one too. I'm going to have to start hitting up the thrift shops!
I'll keep my eyes open for you.

I shall not start to collect sheets... (I bet those quilts are so soft....)
Oooo... that inspiration quilt is adorable. I like the solid squares mixed with the vintage sheets. And I already know I'm going to like your version.
What a great idea! I can't wait to hit the thrift stores.
There's sheets a plenty in thrift stores here. I'm happy to contribute to your stash in exchange for some quilting advice. What do you reckon?!!!
I'm so jealous of all this sheet collecting going on! I suppose I might find something if I actually go thrifting, though!

I think I am going to join you in the saving vintage sheets, I have quite a few already!
I just picked up the sheet on the left at my local thrift store. I'm thinking of making some pajama pants.
