Lucky Carolyn! I've carried the tote you made for me all across the country and continue to get compliments on it. I just love it. I'm sure Carolyn will love hers, too. That patchwork detail is becoming a favorite of mine.
I make up my own patterns...I finally figured out to write down the measurements when I make a new bag to save time and frustration the next time around. it sure helps! I don't know if I could follow a sewing pattern if I had to.
