thank you!!!

Thank you all so much for the enthusiastic and kind response to my fabric line announcement! I can't tell you how grateful I am for your kind words...they mean so much!!!
Yesterday I did a double header trunk show for a quilt guild in Rochester, MN. After I showed my quilts at the afternoon meeting, a kind woman folded and carefully placed my quilts in the pews in front of the church. It was pretty fun to see them all lined up like that! I texted the photo to my husband and commented on how church pews make good quilt holders. His immediate response was, "we aren't buying any." Well, it was worth a shot, anyway, don't you think? Maybe I can keep working on him...the pews would be pretty fun to fill up with throw pillows, too! :)

Hope you are having a terrific Tuesday!

  2. Screened-in porch needing a bench? An old Victorian porch needing a bench? A long entry-way that needs that just right something? Yes, I know, I am enabling! LOL

    Love the quilts!

  4. Your husband is a spoil sport, just kidding. If you had your way, pastors would have avery hard time keeping the congregation awake--all snuggled up in quilts and throw pillows.

  7. I love all of your bright colors. I cannot wait to see the new fabric line. And WELCOME BACK :)

When we have Senior Sunday at our Church, the quilts for the graduating seniors are displayed like that on the front pews before the kids are presented with them and wrapped in them.

Our Church also displays them like that when the ladies are finished with their work days.

I do admit, I get easily distracted though during Church when the quilts are out on display.

  11. My grandfather pastored an old country church years ago. I would love to have one of the old pews from that church, but they are long gone. You never know what you'll find in an antique shop!

  27. My friend just attended a funeral in a very old church in Austria, she said it was freezing and everyone had quilts to cover up with... I think quilts have a very welcome spot in churches and so much bright and happy reflects our Happy God and his happy people! I love them all!!
