Welcome to finish it up Friday! I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!
I'm a little late in posting today because I was busy sewing together my quilt top! This morning it was in a few hundred pieces....now I'm happy to say, it's in quilt top form. I love how subtle it is! It's all from the stash, with the exception of this one fabric.
My friend Tara was sweet enough to buy and send this awesome Dear Stella print to me! You KNOW you have a good friend when they will purchase fabric for you so you don't break your fabric fast. Thanks, Tara! This quilt is all the better because of it!
The squares are 5" cut, 4.5" finished. There are a LOT of polka dots in this quilt. Just the way I like it!
The quilt top is 63" x 90". I figured I might as well make it a twin size so we can all cover up on the couch with it at one time. :)
Now it's your turn! Please link up your finishes for the week! Thanks for joining me for finish it up Friday!
Your stash is so full of treasures!! Beautiful quilt!
Very nice subtle hues for a beautiful top!
So many great prints in this quilt, a nice Christmas treasure for certain.
That station wagon and tree fabric from your friend is adorable! Lucky you :) I like how you used red and green non-Christmas fabrics (with the exception of the new one); that's what I prefer to do, too--subtle, but still very festive.
pretty mix of squares and so fresh in the snow. That dear stella line is fabulous - tugs at the heartstrings. Merry Christmas!
That Tara, she's a sweet friend for sure.
So soft and pretty. Love how you mixed and matched all the squares!
Very nice color choice. I'm hoping to have a finish later today. :-)
I love that car fabric! I have e some white with small skiers on it. I wonder if it is from the same line. The style looks similar. Anyhow, lovely quilt and Merry Christmas!
I love this quilt top!!! What a great combo of prints!!
Good continuation Amanda from Sweden and hugs from Bambi
I love it! I bought that fabric to use as a quilt back.
What a great friend you have! Sometimes the simplest quilts are the prettiest. Hope you had a lovely Christmas!
Love the name, the colors, the backing, everything. I'm still working on my Christmas quilt!
This is such a great Boxing Day quilt!
I have no finish to link up this week, but yours is just lovely! What an awesome Christmas quilt, and such a good friend!
Love this Christmas-y quilt in lighter tones and love, love the darling fabric from your friend! Thanks for all your wonderful blog posts and Link parties. For a long time I didn't link up with you because there were no pictures but when I finally did, I found out it was a surprise to click on each link (like a wrapped present) and even more surprised to find that you generate more traffic than all the others put together most of the time! Happy New Year (and Merry Christmas yesterday)!
Love this quilt top, nice and easy, a classic, think will put one quilt like yours on my to do list for 2015
How lovely! The colours in this pretty Christmas top are just right and you can never go wrong with adding polka dots. ;o)
Enjoy the rest of the holiday season!
What a fun quilt! Yes - that is a good friend!!
What a sweet addition to this subtle Christmas quilt. Love all the dots! Thanks so much for hosting the linky, Amanda Jean! Wishing you and yours all the joy and peace of the season. And Happy New Year!
I love the mix of fabrics--Christmasy but not too much so. And I love the fabric your friend sent you. Friends are awesome.
Really pretty. Can't wait to see it quilted up!
This is a quilt I wish was M.I.N.E. :)
oh it's gorgeous - and the Christmas trees on the cars fabric is perfect, it's all part of the subtle Christmassyness of it all, it looks like it will be perfect for snuggling up under!
Just love the Cheeriness of your Quilt!!
Simple and beautiful!!
Is your layout totally random or do you plan things out? Your quilt is really pretty.
