I found a few minutes to sew this morning before all the thanksgiving craziness started. It felt great to finish this quilt top! As you can see, I did add the mustard into the mix. I love what it adds! I almost chickened out, but I'm glad I went with it! The quilt top is 100 scraps: mainly chambray, denim, linen, gingham and a few wovens. Many thanks to Anna
for the bag of scraps!
The quilt top measures about 58" x 74".
Happy Thanksgiving to those of you celebrating today! I hope your day is fun and stress free. :) Thanks to each and every one of you
for stopping by and reading my blog. I'm so thankful that you do. It means more than I can say. xo

A few minutes? How do you do this? Maybe it's time for an YouTube video showing how you go from 'go to whoa' with your improv work? I'd love to see that!
Another amazing creation!
And thank YOU for your beautiful blog and sharing all your insights and tutorials! I've made several thread catchers for kids as little buckets for their rooms - you know, everyone needs somewhere to put their treasures!

I absolutely LOVE it!!! I must say, I've had to launder a few 'mustard mishaps' in my time, but nothing that looks as good as your quilt top!

It's simply breathtaking! I've printed it and put it in my craft room as inspiration. Thank you for sharing!
The name is perfect, I love it! :)
Because of the colours of this quilt it reminds me of the quilts my grandmother used to make out of men's wool suits. They were very utilitarian and warm with sheep wool batting that we made on the farm and then tied the quilt. Everyone had them on their beds during the winter. Thanks for the memories.
This is gorgeous, the mustard really makes the quilt alive. I love the random piecing x
What a great quilt. You should feel virtuous for using all scraps! Our pioneer ancestors would be proud.
What a wonderful modern quilt! Yay for scraps!
Wow, look at what 100 scraps can make. The pop of yellow really adds personality to the quilt.
I love this quilt and I am so glad you decided to include the "mustard". It's a beauty.
The mustard is just the right touch. Thank you for your fun, colorful, inspirational and instructional blog and for linking us all up on Fridays--I look forward to it all week.
Lovely! It has a Gees Bend/Denyse Schmidt feel to it, but it's definitely you, too!
Absolutely LOVE the pop of yellow in this one!
Love it. The bold strip of 'mustard' is inspired.
I just adore this! I bet it is super wonderful to have on your lap, as well. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your fam!! XX!
