Just a few things to share today....
craftsy store, as well as my big cartel shop. This is the last of my patterns that needed major updating, so I'm thrilled with this finish! It's been a LONG journey.
And while this is not a finish, it's one step in the right direction! A pieced quilt back for a long time WIP. I LOVE how it turned out and it may cause me to start yet another quilt. And so it goes....
Since I'm nearing the end of my 101 scrap project challenge (only 8 more to go!!!) I am wracking my brain for what my next crazy challenge could be. I'm open to any suggestions!
Now it's your turn! Please link up your finishes for the week. Thanks for joining me for finish it up Friday!
Those pin cushions are adorable!! Love them!!! And great job on the pattern remake. That is not a fun job. It was so fun to get to chat with you at Market ;)
I don't remember seeing placemats as part of your scrap projects. Seems like that would be a good scrap project.
Love the triangles on your pieced back.
I love your scrap projects. Maybe you should just keep going?
adorable pincushions. Love your trees quilt too. It's such a fun design. And your new printed patterns look amazing.
<3 those pin cushions! I need to make some myself. I also love the back to that quilt and am curious what you have in mind for a full quilt!
I love the pin cushions! And if you're looking for a "crazy" challenge, you could make a crazy quilt to display for each holiday. - I'm slowly working on that myself.
cute little cushions. I finished up one more row on my hexie quilt - slow but sure
Your scrappy little pincushions are super sweet! Somehow I can't imagine you ever running out of ideas... Or scraps, for that matter. Would you like to try making some Little Blooms blocks? They incorporate both solids and prints and are really cute. I will send you the info in case you are interested!
Those are really cute, and the crushed walnut shells make for a nicely weighted piece that helps the pins stay sharp.

Aw, those pincushions are so darling in all their scrappy glory. I just love knowing that I'm not the only one that can't bear to part with the tiniest bits of pretty fabric. :o)
Oh, how fabulous your updated pattern looks! That's a lot of work, but congrats on finishing that task. One of my favourite patterns of yours - totally smitten by your fabric choices + design on this one.
Wishing you a lovely weekend!
Every time you post a scrap finish, I'm so excited for you; you are getting so close your goal!! :-)
The pin cushions are adorable! It always amazes me how much you can get done, considering you have little ones... Have a restful weekend!
Love that quilt back...it could be a quilt all on it's own! Kudos on getting close to your goal!
love the pincushions! I could never waste an inch of feedsack. I finished my Ticker Tape and I.LOVE.IT!!!! Have a great weekend!
I really like that back you made. Can't wait to see what quilt top you use it with.
super cute pincushions! Lucky friends. ;)
Double or nothing, my friend. You have at least another 101 ideas waiting to see daylight. :)
Happy Friday! Now I'm off to update the 101 scrap pin board.
I just LOVE those little pincushions. Have you made any coasters or Mug Rugs? I made a few ahead for Christmas Gifts this year; I'd love to see your version!
i'm not sure if you've done placemats with your scrap challenge, but i love doing them for my nephews and nieces (and unborn grandchildren, haha)
How about another round of scrap projects and I will join you.
Love these adorable pin cushions! Where do you find the crushed shells?
I have no idea what your next challenge should be. How about an ugly fabric challenge? Every quilter had some of that laying around.
The crushed walnut shells are actually lizard litter and are found at larger pet stores. I hope that helps!
I love the pincushions!
Maybe a quilt a long for your next challenge? I'd be in :)
Wow! You're almost there! Amazing! How about some scrappy lined drawstring bags by In Color Order? I've been having lots of fun making lots of different sizes. My grandkids love them.
Those are adorable pin cushions!!
You should make one of those Scottie Dog cushions. When I think scrappy, they come to mind! I am pretty sure Denise Schmidt offers a free pattern on her website.
Oh the pincushions are so tiny and utterly gorgeous, that really is letting no scrap go to waste! I just can't imagine working with pieces so small!
cute pincushions and I just love love your trees pattern - had to go and buy it and hope to make it in time for christmas 😊
Join in on Bonnie Hunters quilt along! Not quite your normal style...but it would be a great challenge!!
Those pin cushions are teeny tiny! I LOVE your pieced back (and look forward to seeing the front!). As for your next crazy project, what about 'same colour' quilts? And to make it even crazier, start with a quilt made entirely in brown (okay, you can add white and/or black if you must!). Or even crazier...finish any WIP's you have!!!
Next scrap project for me is some Journal covers, great xmas pressies for teenagers.
My crazy challenge is a Dear Jane. I only have ten (blocks) to go too. Too crazy?
What challenge can you set yourself that uses up the bag of thrift-shop zips or some other similar collection in your stash?
A scarf? A fabric bowl? A Christmas ornament?
I've loved your scrap projects!
Just wanted to say thank you. I enjoy reading about this creative world that you have built on your blog.
