Vintage Quilt Revival. It's written by 3 talented ladies: Katie of Swim, Bike, Quilt, Lee of Freshly Pieced and Faith at Fresh Lemons Quilts. The book features 20 traditional blocks and shows multiple ways in which you can use them, including 3 different sampler quilts. It's fun to see each sampler quilt and how it reflects the style of it's maker. Most of the projects are paper pieced, but not all of them are. (If you are like me, you might breathe a little sigh of relief!) I've found that the instructions are spot on and easy to follow.

I love your pillow! I think it is perfect!
The mosaic window block is beautiful! Great work
The pillow is amazing!
Definitely putting this on my wishlist. I love your scrappy take on the dove block!
Love your block and I REALLY love your pillow, Amanda! : ) I'm impressed that you took a stab at that one if paper-piecing isn't your thang. LOL. But it looks great!! Thanks for doing our blog hop!
Love the pillow!
I am SO glad to hear that you aren't a huge paper-piecing fan. I have put in almost 60 hours already on my current quilt (paper pieced) and I honestly haven't enjoyed it all that much; the paper piecing seems so tedious to me. And sadly, somehow, my blocks still aren't perfect - which was the whole reason I thought PP would be worth it... grrr
Anyways, you are my 'quilting mentor' so if YOU don't like PP, I guess it's ok that I don't either ;-)
love the block and the pillow Amanda Jean! :) Hope you're having a happy sunny day!
I love that scrappy twist on the block and adore the pillow. Really nice fabric choices as well as the white in there. So fresh. Early spring item maybe? ;) Take care and thanks for sharing. Its cold -10c and a little snow here finally. Hows the weather like over there?
those blue scraps look teeeeeny! Love your pillow, it is so fresh. Not fresh in the street parlance, or like your mom says don't be fresh, but like a breath of fresh air.
The pillow is beautiful!! Looks wonderful. Paper piecing scares me too. Maybe I will be brave later this year and try it.
Great pillow and lovely block.
Your pillow is gorgeous! And I love your Dove at the Window block, too.
Very inspiring to me!
Your pillow turned out awesome!! I love that you made it even though you aren't crazy (haha) about paper piecing. Thank you so much for making a block for our charity quilts! xox
I just love that you added your own bit of scrappiness to your block. That is so you!!
The pillow's pretty darn awesome too :-)
I can't wait for the final reveal to see how the blog hops blocks all look together. So fun!
Sweet projects! I love the idea of using the blocks for charity! I already own this book and am so lucky to be in the DCMQG with Katie!
Love you scrappy interpretation! This is a great book, isn't it?
Oh I love to paper piece. Your block is wonderful. I like that you put your own spin on it. :-)
A little lesson in perseverance from time to time never hurts :o) Love your scrappy take on the block!
Cute pillow!! I think that is one of my faves from the book:)
Thanks so much for being part of the blog hop, Amanda Jean! I made a darker version of this pillow but yours makes me want to make another one. It's beautiful.
Just love your color selection for the pillow. Your work is inspirational :)
The pillow looks great, and I really like the colors that you chose for your block.
I love the scrappy twist on the dove window. What a great way to update an old block
Your topic is very interesting for me to learn and then could be a reference

Really like the AJ Touch on the first block and the fact that the ladies are making charity quilts with the blocks.
Super cute pillow!
Great block...I love your scrappy addition and your pillow looks gorgeous!
i love the block and the pillow is amazing! I wanted to say congrats on your book being featured in Burdastyle magazine! :) so happy for you!
Your projects are beautiful, and I have to compliment your persistence on the pillow. I really don't like paper-piecing. I'll do things three times harder, if need be, to avoid it!
I LOVE LOVE that cushion!!!! Is there somewhere I can get the pattern please?
Those are beautiful! I think it's so funny that your quilt block is the exact color scheme as the pattern. Tee hee. :) Nice job!
I've been browsing at that book on Amazon...so it's nice to get more info.
That block is so you Amanda :)
Yeah, another scrap project! Love the idea of this book, hope to see it in person one of these days.
