This is a fun quilt! As far as ideas for quilting - I was taught (back in the prehistoric times) that curvy quilting goes with geometric and visa/versa. But, I can also see the rolling stone pattern being repeating in the solid squares. And, maybe a half rolling stone in the triangle areas, with stitch in the ditch on the white rolling stones.

For some reason I think this quilt wants special quilting rather than an all-over design. But I could be totally wrong. I think those big squares are begging for some attention. Maybe a large diamond shape or a "snowflake" of sorts might do well in the blank squares. I would probably do some simple echo or SID quilting around the stones.
i don't know if you saw anna's (noodlehead) swoon quilt. i loved the big swoopy quilting lines on it. i would probably do that. very very beautiful quilt amandajean! i love the blue solid!

Maybe you could do concentric circles, sewing through the center diamond/square and making each circle a little bigger. I'm trying to think of something that would make each block pop. Maybe echo quilting around each block. Have fun!
Oh, I like how you put them on point! When in doubt - as I always am - go with meandering! But maybe the solid squares would look good with concentric circles?
Another great one. Love the big blocks. I should try big blocks so I can actually finish a quilt! Ha! No ideas on the quilting other than maybe some medallion/feature (I have no idea what to call it) quilting in the negative space blocks.
Beautiful! Yes those big empty squares are calling for something special....I wouldn't do an overall pattern on it. But of course I would turn it over to my longarm quilter, Debby Brown, and let her do her magic on it!
The setting squares are begging for something individual in each one. That is, not an all over quilt design, but something in each setting square, then all over. In a thread that matches the teal.

Don't ask me for quilting advice: I always think up complicated things that would take years to accomplish. :) Hopefully your other commenters have great ideas up their quilty sleeves!

What a unique quilt. Unlike anything I've ever seen you do. I think you should quilt some kind of swirl or circular stippling on all the blue and leave the squares alone. Or just trace around them. Something simple to make them pop even more.
Bueller??! Sorry I've no clue, I do agree the spaces in the centre could have some fmq, it's beautiful whatever you chose! I adore the backing colour :)
I think that an orange thread would be a great complement to the blue top and the green backing. As for the pattern!?! I am not sure, you could go with a great flower or one of my favourites, pebbles in varying sizes. Can't wait to see what you come up with. This quilt has a lot of open space to play with.
