Terri and Cindy stayed the night last night and we are headed to Gruber's for a little quilt retreat this weekend. We will be meeting up with several other fabulous bloggers to sew like crazy for a few days. I'm so excited at the thought of sewing to the din of something besides bickering children for a change! (Ha!)

ReplyDeleteThis is adorable. There is a whole quilt of these little dolls and houses in Material Obsessions. The quilt is more like a recipe than a pattern. I bet you will mix a whole batch with great success.

What a blast the weekend was retreating again with y'all amazing quilty bloggers ;-)!!!! On the plane now and typing surreptitiously so the flight attendants won't yell at me;-).

ReplyDeleteYou could use a block like this if you were making a quilt for someone and wanted each block to represent a person. Of course, you would have to do a different kind of block for guys.
