giveaway

Did you see that DeeRoo is leading Round 9 (!!!) of the Old Red Barn quilt along? She is doing variations on a theme...and the theme is Ticker Tape. I have a bunch of small scraps...and these would be perfect for a Ticker Tape quilt. I'm going to give these scraps away to one reader.
There are lots of scraps!
All you have to do is leave a comment here and you will be entered into the drawing. My one stipulation is that you can't make fun of the size of fabric scraps I save. I can't help myself...I have a hard time throwing any fabric away. Obviously. :)

Happy Monday to you!

I keep the most ridiculously small scraps! It's so hard to part with any tiny piece of a beautiful print! :o) My sister mocks me, but she chucks GIANT scraps as "unusable" -- I must get her to save them for me!

Enter me to win! I love the little ticker tape quilts and I love the colors you use!

I love scraps. A friend of mine just sent me a wonderful pineapple quilt made from very small scraps. The most beautiful things can come from very small parts. Bonnie in Iowa

Oooh, Oooh, Oooh, a chance to have scraps from my favorite blogging quilter! Okay, that came off a little stalker-ish, but I would love to have your scraps. Maybe some of your creativity would rub off on me!

Doubt I'm going to get far with this giveaway, seeing as how I'm the 445,??? commenter. But I have to say ... "Wow, your seriously giving this away. There is some good stuff in the making in that container"
I don't always get a chance to comment. But your quilts are wonderful as always. May you be as blessed this year.

Hi, happy new year to you! I like your blog very much and enjoy reading it everytime. Just skip me for the give away, because that is not the reason i leave this comment. I have to keep my little scraps, too. I'd like to win this, and have a little different "mix" of fabrics to work with. :) I've looked at the same ol' stack for so long, it would be nice to have a little kick start of something different to look at. :) Thanks for the giveaway!

Melissa said...

Those seem like perfectly reasonable sizes of scraps to save! I don't know what you're talking about!

Janette said...

I won't win this but it would sure be awesome to. I'm loving the reds, greens and turquoises- I could surely make something purdy with those. I'm not going to make fun of you for keeping scraps that size, I'm just angry at myself for all the ones I've thrown away and could have made something out of. I guess it's never too late to start.

there is no such thing as 'too small' where a scrap is concerned as long as it has a 1/4 inch seem allowance....if not, then there's always a 1/8 inch...and then again, who's measuring?? it a free country, ain't it?
