using up every last bit

This morning I sewed up these cards made up of fabric scraps and card stock.

They are so much fun to make.
I love how they use up the skinny strips that are too thin to use for anything else.

These pink ones will be making their way to a good friend who loves pink.

And a new puppy, Daisy, came to live at our house. We love her! Thanks Linda!

Hope you have a fantastic weekend!

  2. How do you finish the edges of the fabric? Do you stitch it on or glue it?

    The cards are VERY cute!

  7. sandyquilts,

    write a note inside and send them in the mail. :) the strips of fabric are sewn onto a rectangular piece of paper, then I attach that piece to a blank card with double sided tape to hide the messy backing.

  20. I love this blog and being able to see what everyone is doing. I am only a novice quilter so don't feel that I can do what you all are doing. I just finished my third quilt and it is because of you Amandajean and all who are noted on the right side of your page.
