This quilt will be a wonderful heirloom and it is so special that your heirlooms are going backwards, from grand daughter, to grand mother.
My mom made quilts for both of her grandmothers. She got both of them back many years later as her grandmother's passed away, they are more special to her now than they ever would have been had she kept them.

I've been reading on different blogs lately about a ironing board challenge. Might I suggest a challenge to see everyone's favourite quilt label? I'm a relatively new quilter, and I think I should start labelling my quilts. But where to start? I'd love some inspiration! I'd do a challenge myself, but I don't have a quilt blog...yet!

Hi Amanda, Thank you so much for sharing! I love your tutorials and am learning fast. I'm from Karachi, Pakistan, so I can't get the jelly rolls and have to search for nice materials for my quilts. I mostly hand-piece and hand quilt mine... haven't yet learned to machine quilt although I do have a Singer Discmatic sewing machine. I love reading all your news. Thank you once again for making things so simple and easy to follow. Merlyn
