taking a little break

I've decided to take a social media break in August...or should I say for the rest of August. Breaks are hard to take, but I also know that they are a very good thing! Thanks for taking the time to read my blog and thank you for all your support in my quilting and other creative adventures. It means a lot!
I plan to be back at the beginning of September. Finish it up Friday will resume in September as well. (It will be here before you know it!) I'll see you then!

Yes, hard to do, but a good thing. Enjoy your "Sabbath" ha. I'm curious to see how you will quilt that quilt you've pinned there.... :)

It's a well deserved break. I look forward to these Fridays. 😊 In your absence, I think I will visit past Fridays and check out the posts and see if there are any updates on their blogs! Enjoy!

We all need a break from social media but far too many of us (myself especially) don't do it...it's FOMO - fear of missing out! Have a wonderful break and I'll look forward to seeing/reading about all you've done on your break.

Enjoy your break! I took a 6+- month break from social media & it was just what I needed. I don't comment often (this may be my first time), but I enjoy your blog. You're one of a handful of quilt blogs I check a couple of times a week.

We must be on the same timing! While I won't be on blog break, I will be on quilt post related break to focus more on fashion in the month of August.

You must have been very busy over the past few weeks with your pincushion challenge, I'm sure you must need a rest!
However, I was disappointed to read you weren't blogging this Friday as I had been thinking of posting.
Missing you already! Enjoy your well deserved break, see you in September.

Everybody needs a holiday, so enjoy your break.
Love the quilts in those photos, and the wool is lovely too. Couldn't wear woollen socks here, the feet would melt. LOL Or at least get very hot and smelly!

Enjoy your time out, rest and relax. Reading your Friday Finishes blog each week, (plus your other posts inbetween too of course) and occasionally contributing, is the highlight of my week. So many interesting posts to read, finishes to admire, I just take my time and enjoy my reading over the weekend. I'm sure our current Friday Finishes will be able to wait another week or two.

Enjoy the rest of summer vacation with your family. These are precious years! The fabric will still be there but the kids grow so fast! Good idea to chill awhile.

Enjoy your little break. I sure like those socks, what pattern are you using. I have never made socks but they are on my want to learn list. Have fun!

Enjoy the rest of August, love your sock!

I'm not 100%, but they look much like the free sock pattern on her craftsy page, which is well-written and straight forward enough for an adept beginner, but not as a first project (I hope that makes sense).
