That's gorgeous! So fresh and vibrant! It is a lovely idea to use your most precious fabric in a hand applique'd quilt. More time to really appreciate them. Like the idea of a mini hallowe'en dot quilt:)
These are so cute! I loved it when you had a full row of these across the top of your design wall with another quilt happening below--the scrappy stash buster one with lots of straight lines, squares, rectangles but no curves. These were perfect as the border of that quilt! Can't wait to see where you eventually take these little treasures. I always enjoy your quilting journeys.
Love how this is looking. The first word that came to mind is sunshine. I think it's because yellow circles really pop out. Might have a little to do with my latest post about yellow too. You've given me and idea with this one so I just put a hold on Carolyn's book at the library. See what you've started.
Love this quilt, but curious are those dots appliqued on, or how did you do them? would love to make a baby quilt like that. Thank you for any information Katie
This just makes me squeal. Could it be any cuter? You inspire me Amanda Jean.
ReplyDeleteWhat little cuties!
ReplyDeleteYour dot squares are so cute and fun that I want to try making a little mini Halloween themed dot quilt. Thanks for the inspiration!

ReplyDeleteJust a thought.....
ReplyDeleteMaybe there could be some random plain squares throughout and then you wouldn't need to make any more circles....
Will you cross your t's with sashing? It's looking great.
