Liberty Giveaway 2

It's Monday! Doesn't it seem like a good day for a giveaway? How about a Liberty giveaway? That's even better!
My lovely friend, Anna, who carries Liberty in her on-line shop, is giving away one bundle of Liberty Tana Lawn fat eighths to one of my readers. This is a 10 piece bundle, each piece measures 9" x 13". If you would like your name thrown into the hat, please leave me a comment in this post. In your comment, I would love to hear what your favorite kind of pop/soda is. (I had my 12 year old son come up with the question this time. Can you tell? :) ) If you had any idea of what you would sew with this fine fabric if you win, I'd love to hear about that as well.

Please, only one comment per person! The giveaway is open to US and international readers!

Happy Monday to you!

I'm not a pop drinker at all, the wildest I get is lemonade or barely sweetened tea (I have to be careful in the South, sweet tea is gospel around here! Lol). I've never actually seen or touched Liberty fabrics before, so if I won I'd likely just sit and pet it for a while. Lol. Thanks for the giveaway!

lindaroo said...

When I was your son's age, I like Dr. Pepper. As an adult, it was Diet Coke or nothing. Now, it's nothing! Occasionally some flavored club soda, but I prefer wine!
PS Verification was cakes, and I'm about to indulge in birthday cake with several friends and family. I think that makes me a winner!

Jeanmarie said...

Diet Dr. Pepper! I've never seen liberty in person, would love the chance! Thanks!!

There are a lot of comments in such a short time! Wow! My favorite soda is A & W Cream Soda. It's a splurge because I don't drink much soda, yum. If I won this great fabric I'd make some kind of sweet baby girl quilt. Thanks for the chance. :)

DianeY said...

I really don't drink soda anymore. Unsweetened green tea is go-to thirst catcher!
As far as what I would make? I propably have to decide between zippy pouches or incorporating into a quilt (Which would probably force me to buy more)

Dr. Brown's Black Cherry - no doubt about it! Thank you!

Diet Dr. Pepper for me! But it has to be from a fountain. Not sure why, but it just tastes better to me. If I can't find that I love cream soda, both the red and the "regular" cream.

I've never sewn with lawn before, so I don't know what I would make. They sure are pretty though! Thanks for the chance to win them.

That Thimbleanna runs a very pretty store. I'd love to play with Liberty lawns, but need to fondle them for awhile to decide.

In high school, my track coach's mantra was "Water is your favorite beverage." It stuck with me. Occasionally, I'll have a Coke with pizza, but it's maybe once or twice a year.

Dear Anna and Amanda Jean,

Thank you for the chance to win these beauties!

We vote for the classic Coca-Cola most of the time, but in the summer we appriciate the sourish flavours, like the elderberry flower soda (the good one, which is somewhere between the lemonade and the freshly squeezed grape juice).

Some of the lovely fabrics would go to summer skirts for our seven God-daughters and some for cheerful quilts. :)

Rachel said...

Root beer or cream soda, with ginger ale a close third!

donna said...

My favorite soda (if it weren't so bad for me) is Coca Cola. It makes me think of happy times growing up. My sister and I would sometimes get to buy one to share on grocery shopping day. It was a good thing for times if someone in the car was "car sick." It was always a treat. Liberty fabric is a treat too!

Carolyn J. said...

A & W root beer is a favorite at our house. That fabric looks like a great start to a baby quilt....lovely!

Old fashioned root beer/sarsaparilla.

Erin said...

I love both Coke and A & W Rootbeer. I would sew something for me :)

Colleen said...

I always felt deprived as a child because I didn't like pop - except for root beer. Back in those days, restaurants and birthday parties did not usually have root beer. So I was stuck with milk or juice - neither of which was a treat. ( pop back then was a treat - even kids that liked it rRely got it more than maybe once a month.)

lesizmo said...

Pepsi Throwback (real sugar), bottle only, or water.

The liberty prints would be a good addition to the Passacaglia Millefiori quilt I want to make using Inklingo (not EPP),

Tamie said...

I gave up soda a long time ago but every now and then I want a sip of a root beer.

Rie said...

My fav pop soda is a raspberry spider ... a spoonful of vanilla icecream in a tall glass with raspberry soda poured over the top - eaten both with a spoon & straw!

Mie said...

When I have soda it's mostly coke. I don't think I would cut up this lovely fabric right away, it's too pretty.

Caroline said...

My pop of choice is Diet Coke, but will settle for Diet Pepsi if I need to. I have cut my pop drinking back to one or two a week, instead of one or two a day. As for what I would make with this fabric, I think it would be a nice beginning to a quilt for one of my granddaughters.

Bethany said...

Diet Pepsi is my favourite, but I also love the vanilla Coke Zero from McDonalds :)

Debbie -- Sheltered Stitches said...

If I'm going to drink soda it MUST be real coke, otherwise I'll pass.. this is the loveliest line of fabric and I must put it on a wish list somewhere I always forget till I see it on a blog..

Coke is my absolute favorite pop. My dad worked for Coke when I was younger so we pretty much grew up with it. When we go to restaurants, my first question is " What kind of pop do you have?" If they say "Pepsi" , then I say, " I'll take a water!"

I fell in love with Orangina when we lived in France. I'm obsessed with quilts these days but I've never used Liberty Jane fabrics. I'm excited for a chance to try them out on one of the thousands of quilts on my Pinterest boards.

What a fun giveaway. I'm slowly collecting lawn to make a scrappy quilt one day. I live in the South where everything is called coke. But I call it soda for some reason. I love root beer and cream soda. Thanks for the chance to win!

I don't drink soda. For a carbonated drink, it would be seltzer made in my soda stream or else just water and homemade unsweetened iced tea. Would use the beautiful fabrics for a star project.

Q Tonic with lime, if I'm going to drink soda. The fabrics are lovely!

Ale 8 One! Manufactured in Winchester, KY and better than ginger ale. . .especially when paired with bourbon!

I have been desperately trying to stop my addiction to coca-cola! It is my guilty pleasure. I blame France for the addiction as before living there I never touched the stuff. You would have thought that I would be addicted to cheese and red wine but no, coca cola! I have to admit that I bought and consumed some over the weekend. It was my 10 year old son's birthday party at Laserforce with ten 10/11 year old boys and I needed it! I really needed it!

I don't have a favorite soda - I haven't had one in years! I think I'd make pillows.
