So, in the past week I've worked on no less than 7 different quilts.
Madness!!! Wouldn't you say?
Here's a peek....
(these are blocks for 3 different quilts)
Sometimes I wish I was a one project at a time girl.
But that would probably get boring, right?

Oh, but these are all so yummy! How could you pick even one to give up? It would be like picking a favorite child.
Each project is sew pretty and sew different from each other. It must be a pleasure to work on the one that suits your mood at the moment!
Love the variety, colors and fabrics!
I hear you! I'm pretty manic in my approach as well. Honestly, I'm just not happy if I dont have choices!

One project at a time?! (Imagine woman screaming in terror in a B-horror flick.) I could never do that!
My first thought - Wow! She has loads of pins! Those are beautiful blocks. g
They all look wonderful! I have a few in the works, and after moving(like you!) am antsy to get going on ALL of them!!!
Ah, variety is the spice of life! I can see why you want to work on all these projects! They are ALL wonderfuL!
I usually work on several at a time too. It keeps me from getting bored.
These are all beautiful! I think it's nice to have several projects on the go at once - then you are always getting to do your favourite part, whatever it is.
they all look lovely. One project at a time... psha totally overrated ;)
Nice projects all of them. 7 different isn't that much. The hardest thing about that is that you might use a fabric on wrong project. Or even not find it, because you put it away on a safe place...
They're all beautiful, but I feel tired and overstimulated just thinking about juggling that many at once. lol. Good for you that you're of a more organized mind to have that ability.
I mean--who can only do one project--not me! They are all really lovely...hugs, Julierose
Can't wait to see more of them -- that solids HST quilt, especially.
Very pretty quilts!! no wondering you are working on them so much.
Yay, stars! Glad these are getting some attention, but I'd really like to see the tiny scraps one done!
You are amazing. Amd great inspirations for me :)
I always have several things in various stages of progress - so I really can't imagine not having a bunch of things going ... Beautiful work,as always!
So very nice, each and every one of them!
Great WIP...one at a time...no way.
wow!!! You are AMAZING!!!!
Love the stars with diamond shapes. Are they paper pieced?
Only 7?! You're doing great!
Love the last one. Such a perfect value lesson.
ahhh, sounds like a case of Quilter's ADD -- I've got it too!
Definitely - and boredom's not fun (obviously!). I am very impressed with the third to last photo of the stars in hexagons. I mean, that seriously looks like 10,000 hours of hand sewing! I also noticed that your floors look very clean (I'm off to vacuum!).
I wish I was a one-project-at-a-time kind of girl, too. *sigh* Beautiful projects, all of them!!
A quilter after my own heart! I was thinking I was the only one. I consider myself rather fickle, or just excited to start something new. If I finished everything, I'd have a ton of quilts!
Although to be fair you are 'drowning' in some fairly spectacular quilts!
I'm the same... But are right now forcing myself to wrap up some projects before endeavouring into new ones. That being said I think you are rocking those colors :)
I have a pile of quilts waiting to be finished. I think I'm in denial about them! One if them is my chequerboard quilt from your book. I don't mind that this one is a wip as I'm working on it bit by bit as you advise in your book! I must put some photos on Flickr All your quilts at beautiful! X
Great projects!!! I like them!!!
And it is very exciting to do all in the same time :o))) Not 2 in 1, but 7 in 1 :o)
Very beautiful works!!Beautiful!!!
I also do this kind of skill, that is, start multiple projects at once and then the finish is also well ... several at the same time ...
The good thing is that we have several jobs at once ...
congratulations on your beautiful work
hugs Maria Filomena
I like working on multiple projects, I think it helps you see colour and design freshly when you move from one to the other. These all look beautiful!
The good thing about having many WIPs is the ability to choose the right one for the number of minutes you have free at that moment. The more time you have, the more involved the project can be. Stealing a few moments at a time adds up and boom, you have a FO.
I, on the other hand, have been away from my machine so much that having to repair a seam on a pillow case felt like eating ice cream. Funny how just the whirl of the machine makes me feel better no matter what it is I am sewing.
How could you possibly choose only one of those to work on and leave the others languishing - it would be too cruel both to the quilts and to us! They are all completely gorgeous and wonderful and have me itching to start sewing!
Oh my goodness those are so pretty!!! I love the bright colors!!!!! Love love love the star quilt!
I cant even imagine doing so many WIPS. I have limited myself to 2 projects at a time or else I would NEVER get anything done! Have a fun time!
I am a long-arm quilted if you need help quilting them. If we quilt a quilt we can also bind it. Our website is blackcatstitching.com
A girl needs options. The difference between you and me is that you actually complete your WIPs....
I feel ya. I'm not a one-project-at-a-time girl either. Well, YOU know. I live the sneak peeks. Can't wait to see the final products!
I mean, I love the sneak peeks. Yeesh.
Love the quilts - they all look amazing. I am the same with projects, I am always working on multiple quilts at a time (I even had to make myself a spreadsheet to keep track of them).
Glad you can keep them straight! I might start to buy fabric and plan for another quilt at the same time but generally I just focus on one at a time. But I am a shared space, naptime, bedtime quilter. Thanks for sharing the progress!
Your projects are all beautiful. There is no way I could work on that many at one time!
They all look nice to me. At least you make progress this way. Sometimes I feel like I never make much progress when I work on just one thing and get sidetracked with life stuff.
some lovelies there! The STARS especially! LOVE! EEEEE! I am not a 'one project' at a time girl either. Gotta keep it interesting! :)
how I would love to be sitting on your shoulder watching how you create these beautiful pieces. I am in awe of you!
Each one is prettier than the last... I'm a multi project quilter too who needs choices when I enter my quilting room!
I couldn't keep my head on straight with all those projects! They're looking good!
How are you going to finish your hexie star quilt? Curious because I'm making my first ever hexie quilt and am not sure what to do about the edges...
Oh, I think I love the solid triangles best of all! Makes me want another WIP myself.
Of course it's madness...exhilarating madness, besides you're in good company!! It's all looking fabulous!!
I have to agree with you. I am not a one project at a time kind of quilter.
One at a time would definitely be boring! 😉
Drowning in beautiful colours. They are all going to look so pretty when finished.
I used to be a one project at a time person, but it is very hard to keep that up... sometimes projects just need to sit and marinate. I like it more to have one thing lined up to cut, one sewing, and one in basting/quilting/binding progress, so that I can jump and not slog through the boring parts if I don't feel up to it at any particular time.
I totally agree with you! I do the same :-)
Gunilla
That's difficult for me. I'm not a single project girl, too. When I work on just one project, I see so many things I'd like to try NOW. On the other hand it's also nice with one project as I make progress more quickly. But all the other started and unfinished projects make me crazy because they're lying in the closet and "look" at me... We have problems, haven't we?
So many pretty projects! I especially love the slabs laid out on your floor, can't wait to see what those become. I have multiple quilt/sewing/hand sewing projects at any one time, too; one at a time would definitely be not as much fun!
