Welcome to finish it up Friday!
I've been working on this little quilt top all week long. It's got a ton of tiny little pieces in it and it was pieced improvisationally. I usually break up the piecing between several different projects, but this one has a self-imposed deadline, so I had to power though. I was
so happy to put the last several seams in it early this morning.
It's not very big...only 46" x 53", but every one of those seams were totally worth it! (I love low volume.) I'm looking forward to quilting it this weekend.

In the closeup it looks a little 'busy' for me ... but in the big picture there's plenty of color and contrast. I'm looking forward to seeing the finish.

It is really sweet. Not sure what "low volume" means, but I suspect it may be akin to scrap buster. I did finish my first quilt project ever. It was pretty easy and I learned a lot doing it. I only have to bind it hopefully later today. Binding fabric is still drying. First project was a charm quilt from Seamingly Scrappy. No pics however.

Love this low volume improv quilt. I have an overflowing bin of low volume scraps but didn't want to do anything that required tons more cutting on them. This is perfect.

I've yet to try a low volume. Every time I see a low volume I love it but I'm in bright and wild mode with my scraps now.

I love this quilt! I am coming from Minnesota to attend Camp StitchALot this coming weekend and am SO excited for your class! I think this is what I would like to spend the extra sewing time on. Guess I best gather up what low volume stash I have- which probably isn't that much! Just how large of a variety would you suggest?

I'm not really sure what low volume means.... is it low color? lack of contrast? only light color fabrics with white back grounds?
Maybe you can do a blog post about what it all means.
