I think I need a good dose of finish it up Friday. How about you?
(there are at least 9 more works in progress not represented here. no wonder I'm feeling frantic these days!)
I plan to start the linky party back up this Friday (about 10am central time). For obvious reasons. :)
Also, I hear that leaving comments has been a huge pain because of the word verification, so I'm turning it off for a bit....we shall see how that goes.
Hope you are having a great Wednesday!
Wow that's a lot of blocks! They're all so lovely :)
ReplyDeleteLove your design wall!
ReplyDeleteMuch goodies there!
I can see how it makes you feel frantic, but it does look lovely to an outsider! Makes me want to hang all of my wips :-)
ReplyDeleteYour design wall looks great! Yea to Finish Friday!!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what everyone finishes. I turned my WV off a while ago, and I've heard that if you do not allow anonymous comments, you won't be plagued with spam.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty, pretty design wall.
ReplyDeleteYayy!!! I'd love it, i have so many wip's too, i need a bit more of a push to keep me accountable to finishing!! Lovely lovely wall!!
ReplyDeletewow!!!! that's a lot of gorgeous blocks. Looking forward to Finish it up Friday, I so need some push to get some of those wips finished.
ReplyDeleteoh my word! that is a lot of beautiful blocks you are working on! cannot wait to see all those lovely quilts :) oh & finish it up friday is definitely a good thing for me too ;)
ReplyDeleteI don't feel so bad....I have about 20+ projects going on.
ReplyDeleteI think your wall looks wonderful!!!
Look forward to Friday!!
ReplyDeleteI hate that word verification, drives me mad!! You can help cut down spam if you find you get any by not allowing anonymous comments and/or approving comments on posts older than a few days.
So happy to have Finish it up Friday back.
ReplyDeleteI am thinking that wash tub in the corner is holding pure greatness!!! What a fantastic idea!! I just love that!! I'd be pulling my hair out if my design wall looked like that....I feel overwhelmed with 3 or 4 projects going!! However, it is pretty to look at!
ReplyDeleteYour WALL......... is amazing! lots lots going on here.
ReplyDeleteWow! Tried to comment on your Drano quilt. It is awesome! What is your method for sewing so many little pieces and getting it done so fast? Please help me to be able to get done faster!
ReplyDeleteLet's see if I can get something finished by Friday! Thanks for the motivation.
ReplyDeleteYour design wall is so inspiring...I've been really motivated to finish things up this week too! So thanks for the extra motivation to keep working at it!
ReplyDeleteNow that's what I call a design wall! So fun!
ReplyDeleteWowsers! Here's the thing--they really all look great together! You could just put them all in one quilt. Oh how I love those sewing machine blocks!!(and exclamation points!)
ReplyDeleteYour wall looks awesome! Love to see other peoples WIP's, so I know I'm not alone.
ReplyDeleteYour projects look so inspiring! Looking forward to linking up ; )
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, is that your WIP wall? I've never seen one of those....I LOVE IT!!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a design wall but I can surely admire yours.
ReplyDeleteI am thrilled you are doing Finish Fridays again and I know you already know what my first finish will be. I'm going to make it happen so I can stop evading your question about whether the shams are done or not!
Thanks for the lovely kick in the pants. I know you didn't mean it that way but I really deserved it.
Wow that design wall does look a bit "crazy!". You are lucky to have one and a husband who tolerates it ;)
ReplyDeletewow... im not sure how you work with all those WIP all at the same time! I will deffinitly be joining on those finish fridays!
ReplyDeleteYay! I'm hoping to start linking up (but not this week, because I'm running a race Friday and Saturday). My list is SO long and completely static at this point. Thanks for the nudge.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the Friday linky party! So glad you are starting it up again. I've missed it!
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely wall full of colour and energy!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness - what a beautiful mix up of WIP's! I'm totally interested in the linky party - I need a good kick in the rear!
ReplyDeleteI think I need a month of just Finish It Up Fridays!!
ReplyDeleteToo true about the word verification. I have tried to comment and have just given up. I can not wait to see all your beautiful blocks done. They look awesome!
ReplyDeleteIs it me or would your entire design wall make a fantastic scrappy quilt? LOL, Maybe I will find a way to finish something!
ReplyDeleteI want your design wall!!!!!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteOMG!! Amazingly beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteYour wall looks amazing! Won't you miss it if you finish too much?
ReplyDeleteWow- what a full wall. Can't wait to see the finishes.
ReplyDeleteI'd just sew them all together and name it "Quilter's Delight." It would certainly be original! :) Loving the monochromatic stuff going on in the upper right corner.
ReplyDeleteI love your wall. Good luck with finishes. And thanks for turning off the verification.
ReplyDeleteMy design wall is jealous of your design wall! I don't know how you find time for all of those projects. I'm looking forward to seeing all of your Friday finishes though! :)
ReplyDeleteI thought I was the only one with that many WIP (and we will not even discuss the UFOs).
ReplyDeleteThe design wall is just amazing. I can't wait to see the projects as you finish them.
Wow what a wall of goodness. Yes finish up Friday is back.
ReplyDeleteYour UFO's look marvelous!! I have to say I have been a Slacker. Yay to your Finish Up Friday return. I need the motivation. Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteSo many beautiful blocks :)
ReplyDeleteAs my daughter would say "Oh my doodness"! That is one packed design wall. And I have to ditto the comment about not allowing anonymous comments. Once I changed that on my blog, the spam comments ended.
ReplyDeleteI'm lovin gthe patchwork-y stars and the pink tonal churn dash - what can I say - I lean toward traditional.
ReplyDeleteyour design wall is so inspiring!
ReplyDeletethe log cabin-ish blochs on the bottom, below the brown star just scream table runner for me.
Save yourself some stress and make it all one big quilt- the blocks are lovely together!!
ReplyDeleteWow - traditional turned modern....I LOVE it!!!! Wish it were on my wall, then on my quilting machine, then on my bed!!!
ReplyDeleteMy goodness girl - what an incredible wall of beauty!!! Can't wait to see them all put together!
ReplyDeleteOooh. I like the color pallete you've been using. Such great pinks and tealy blues. And those sewing machine blocks are way cute.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you need a bigger WALL??? ;)
ReplyDeleteHate that word verification thing, but I understand the need for it.
ReplyDeleteI have been enjoying the drano quilt project! I followed some of your links back to other blogs. What a fun journey.
That style of quilt is one of my favorites. I think because it uses up what would normally be thrown away....and is yet so pretty.
I am weird, though, I like those photomosaics, too!!
Wow, I couldn't do that much at once. I need for things to be finished before I can start on something else. My brain hurts when I have too many things to think about!
ReplyDeleteVery impressive design wall! Love that picture.
ReplyDeletewow you look busy
ReplyDeleteI know the feeling. I have way too many projects going on, myself. These look beautiful. The word verification has been a big pain for me....sometimes taking 3-4 tries to get a comment in! So, thanks! Hope all's well!
ReplyDeleteFantastic design wall! It would make a great quilt, as someone said. And thank you for turning off word verification; it was a pain :)
ReplyDeleteI saw that picture and thought the whole thing was a new, crazy-ish quilt. Then I realized it is all of your WIPs. Either way, it looks WAY cooler than my non-existent WIP wall! Can't wait to link up. :)
ReplyDeleteWell, if you get too frantic you could always just piece all those blocks together and make one quilt. They have a great Sampler look to them. :)
ReplyDeleteWow, that's quite the wall! The first question I thought of was: how do you keep it all separate? I don't have a design wall (the only free wall space I have in the house is upstairs, while I sew downstairs. Not very convenient.), but I would LOVE to be able to put my blocks up and see what they look like instead of laying them out on the floor. Oh well, you're looks very colorful and fun!
ReplyDeleteFinish it up Friday's were my favorite, and I'm glad you're bringing it back! Hooray!!
I'm really glad you're bringing it back! :) Can't wait to see what everyone is working on.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful & inspiring picture!
ReplyDeleteSo excited about "finish it up friday" Spend my Sunday morning with a cup of coffee and browsing all the fun posts. I've missed it. Thanks, Amanda Jean! Looking forward to all of the great inspiration!
ReplyDeleteNow I know why I keep all my projects hidden in drawers, I think I would overwhelm myself to see them all on the wall like that! Would take me an hour to decide where to start! I love the colours though!
ReplyDeletewow! I love that wall! I would just leave it and call it wallpaper!
ReplyDeleteLove seeing your wall. I've just finished a quilt inspired by you
ReplyDeleteIt all looks fabulous together! I think you should sew it up for a kitchen sink quilt and call it lovely! Love your style.
ReplyDeleteThe overall look is fantastic, but I agree with Books Bound's comment that my favorite section is the upper right corner where you have the monochromatic blocks. It inspires me to get my scraps separated by color and put something together. I have flannel hung like this but only put up one project at a time. This is way better. Thanks for sharing it with us.
ReplyDeleteI love the design wall of half finished items. I have a box of unused blocks (left over from various quilts) and just this week the box no longer fits them. I really need to throw them up on the wall and figure out how to make a quilt out of all these blocks.

Can I ask you...is your design wall just flannel nailed up to the full height of the wall? Looks great. I seriously need something like that! Jenn
