so, i decided to pebble quilt the rolling stone quilt.
it's going to take awhile.
and it's going to take a lot of thread.
i really like how the pebbles can be any size and how they fit easily into small spaces.
besides....pebbles...rolling stones....it just makes sense. :)
the quilting really shows up on the back.
so i'm hoping i don't run into any tension issues.
i think these colors are so good together!
i'm guessing i'm going to love the back more than the front.
but it wouldn't be the first time that happened.
all fabrics in this quilt are from the mod basics collection by birch fabrics.
I pre-ordered your book from Amazon.co.uk yesterday. I can't wait to get it!

ReplyDeleteAs one of my quilting teachers told me "lime green goes with everything" and it's still one of my fav thread colors. Love the pebbles, they are fun, but do take some time.

Love the pebble quilting, it is my favorite one to do :o) It seems to just flow when doing it...very calming.
