giveaway

It feels like a giveaway day to me! I have one bright colorstory jelly roll to give away, compliments of Robert Kaufman. If you would like to win, let me know where you are from and what you are up to today. Here's an example for you: I'm Amanda Jean from Wisconsin. Today I'm going to start quilting my blue quilt. I have a sick boy at home (he has a cold, poor thing) and I'm listening to pandora, hoping my two little ones don't argue too much. Sounds lovely doesn't it? ;) Actually, the sun is shining, which helps immensely.

Please, one comment per person. Include your email address in case I need to contact you! I'll pick a winner sometime on Friday.

My name is Anggi Wakefield and I am from Vancouver, WA.

I have been fighting a headache for over 40 days and haven't been as productive as I would like. But, having a headache makes it hard to think, ya know. I just returned home from the doctor and am going to try an new prescription and am hopeful it should help by the end of the week. Now, my creative juices feel like they can begin to flow again. I am excited to pick up the three baby quilts I have started, the two baby sweaters I am crocheting, finish up the purse I am making, and start the diaper bag I have been dying to make.

Thanks for considering me.

My little one also has a cold so some snuggles before nap are in order and then I will probably knit. (My sewing room is under construction right now.)

Hi! I'm Paige from Washington State. Today I'm going to bake banana bread, pick my eldest up from preschool, fix lunch, and then go to the store ALL BY MYSELF while my kind aunt watches my 3 little people! Then laundry, dinner, babyfeeding, cuddles. Later I'll go visit someone who just moved in nearby (and take some banana bread), and then spend an hour sewing for Children's Clothing week. And then blessed bedtime!

My name is Juliet,
I haven't quilted yet:
Today my babe is sick,
So this will just be quick.
My table is piled high,
With material that I
Would love to chop and sew,
To quilt and then to show.
But quilters near and far,
And Amanda the star,
Know it can be so tough,
To get on with our stuff.
When life gets overbearing,
At projects I keep staring,
Put my head in the sand,
In my dear Switzerland.

(Dreadful, isn't it? x Juliet)

Today I am home with my 6 yr old, she caught a cold over the weekend. I don't like going to the dentist, but my tooth broke and I am in a ton of pain. :(

After the dentist I have to make chocolate chip cookies for my son's birthday tomorrow. He asked me to make his class cookies because he loves my baking. How sweet is he!? :D Thankfully hubby will be home to help me.
