I would hope you'd love it!! The pillows are gorgeous and matche PERFECTLY with that awesome Bento box quilt that I've always coveted.....hehe! Aren't you glad you're so talented???? Just think how much $$ you saved!!!
Wowser Amandajean...that is amazingly fantastic! Love the colors, so simple but stunning and I agree with Andrea....looks like a magazine cover!! Love the circle quilting...I'm getting ready to do a quilt I found stashed away in my cupboard since I don't know how long ago...way before I even knew about FMQ....and I think I'll try your circles since I am still learning...looks like something even I may be able to do! Do you ever box yourself in and if so what do you do....stop and move your needle over or follow around the circles until you get to an open area?:)
I'm totally in love! Funny enough last night I started seriously planning a bedroom makeover over here. Now if I can just get DH to clean up his stuff...
You should love it so, so much. How fabulous are all of those pillows, each with such great detail that all works so well together? I hope you're enjoying it - a little well-deserved rest and relaxation would be great right there.
I really love how your bed looks; reminds me of a magazine photo. The solid/plaid pillows are darling. Perhaps you can do a tutorial on the pillows; they would make wonderful Christmas gifts.
Been grazing your blog ad enjoying it very much, Paulette at Sweet P put a link in. I've been quilting for years and never yet bought all the fabric for a quilt. I have always done patchwork from dressmaking scraps, curtain ends, and od clothes. Until about nine years ago I thought that was the only way!
WOW!!! That's GORGEOUS CrazyMom!!! You know, I had teeny tiny reservations about that bento pattern, but you've made a believer out of me. Your talent for color combo and pattern has no end!!!
I have been wanting to try out that quilting pattern on pillows for a while. Now I am inspired to get going on that project! I love the white pillows with the patchwork strips.
AmandaJean, that turned out to be SO lovely!! I am just absolutely in awe. If my bed looked like that, I'd either be afraid to sleep in it and mess it up, or I'd never be able to leave it. Ever!
Its beautiful Amanda, i love the bedroom. I follow your site its my inspiration. i make the quilt stars whit your tutorial. Visit my sit. Thanks for your lesson and tutorials. Greetings from Uruguay
My latest sewing project- webkins sleeping bags for our 8 year old neighbor and a braided circle rag rug. That is as complicated as I get. I read your blog and drool over your talent and think, maybe, maybe one day. For now, I enjoy just looking at the pictures. For now I am sticking to my rag rug.
If I'm ever in the States, near your house, when you're not home, and your window is open, I'm gonna sneak in, and leave you some fabric so you can make me one exactly the same!! lol (what did you think I was gonna say?? I'm not a thief hehe) Alas, I have no passport, and I'm never in the States. Beautiful bedding set, love the quilting on those pillows!!
I think concensus is........bewdiful!!!! Love your choice of colour - very mod, simple but spectacular and dramatic. Well done. ps. I think I now need to look at my next bed quilt....green, blue and brown seem to go ok..... hehehe. thanks for the inspiration. ;o)
What a fantastic idea. Your decorating style and the colors you choose are so inspiring. I have some pressed leaves like that in my bedroom and they just go so well with your browns and greens and teal and I just want to make myself some pillows and a bento box now.
Inspiritaional yet again - here's hoping when we get our bedroom eventually sorted out I get a chance to something as beautiful with our room - as usual your hard work turns out to be another work of art
I've been away for a week and look what I've missed! I love your bedroom set, your toes (funny I have a longer second toe - it's a sign of royalty I hear!!), your pre-loved fabrics, I mix my fabrics between quilt shop and Spotlight (our Joannes) AND I'm not yet brave enough for flying geese but do love them. BUT I soooo love those little houses. How sensational are they? T.
This ensemble is something special! I'm excited to see the first run of these fabrics but I also can't wait to see the scraps pop up in the next zillion quilts you do. You always manage to stretch your scraps so far. Are you really generous in your initial purchase of yardage or do you have bunnies in your scrap bucket?
It's beautiful!
