a new work in progress

...as of this morning.

The inspiration quilt is here. Isn't that an absolutely incredible quilt?
I have a good excuse, though....September is my month for the Sew Connected Quilting Group. And I thought it only kind to do a test block before subjecting my fellow quilters to making blocks for me. :) I am so excited for this quilt!!!!

I love this block and cannot wait to your finished quilt.

That inspiration quilt is adorable -- I love house quilts -- I've seen a few that are just to die for. This one is so unqique -- love the barn block! How cute is that?

I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun with this one. Do you plan to incorporate other things - I bet it stirred up lots of ideas. Little single flower blocks mixed in would be cute too.

Good luck and have fun with it.

This is AWESOME! I cannot wait to see how this turns out as a quilt. I think if you enlarged the pattern - the single block could be a really cool top all by itself. I might try that - thanks for the inspiration!
