my quilt cupboard...

is full.

I asked my husband what I should do now. He simply said, "Rejoice."
That was the best answer. Ever.

WOW - I bet each quilt has a story too. Love it!!!! Hope to one day be in this situation.

Love that answer! and seeing them all piled high :)

LOL - that reminds me of the Method bottles... Their stainless steel and granite cleaners have "...Buff with a soft cloth. Stand back. Admire." I love it.

I suggest the following methods of rejoicing:
1) Hot bath (or cool, depending on your weather)
2) Bake something
3) Read a book you've been meaning too but couldn't put down your rotary cutter
4) Have a date night with the man who suggested the plan!

nettie said...

lol, that made me laugh

That is a beautiful display of quilts. You should be very proud of yourself. What wonderful treasures to pass down to your children. I have 2 built in bookcases in my family room that go from floor to ceiling. It's my goal to fill the top half of each one with quilts. Lofty ambition, but I'll have so much fun doing it!

When my grandmothers quilts ran over she would always take some to the NICU at the hospital to cover the incubators:) She has since passed on but this reminded me of her:)
