LOL - that reminds me of the Method bottles... Their stainless steel and granite cleaners have "...Buff with a soft cloth. Stand back. Admire." I love it.
I suggest the following methods of rejoicing: 1) Hot bath (or cool, depending on your weather) 2) Bake something 3) Read a book you've been meaning too but couldn't put down your rotary cutter 4) Have a date night with the man who suggested the plan!
That is a beautiful display of quilts. You should be very proud of yourself. What wonderful treasures to pass down to your children. I have 2 built in bookcases in my family room that go from floor to ceiling. It's my goal to fill the top half of each one with quilts. Lofty ambition, but I'll have so much fun doing it!
I just cleaned out the linen cupboard yesterday and it looked a little bit like that (but less quilts!) All I could think of was...what do I do with the next one I make??!!
When my grandmothers quilts ran over she would always take some to the NICU at the hospital to cover the incubators:) She has since passed on but this reminded me of her:)
I do like your husband's answer! You could sell them (you'd probably make a fortune!), or maybe give some to a women's shelter or something? Its hard to part with such beautiful creations I'm sure.
oh my lord! i remember not too long ago you took a picture of this same thing and it was nit even half full! i think if you opened a shop you would be very, very rich!
I love your husband's answer! Sometimes we are so busy doing that we do forget to take the time to just sit back and enjoy the fruits of our labor. Beautiful FULL cabinet you have there!
Yay, you'll never be cold! My husband always says "Do we need another blanket?" Me ~ "Yup!" P.S.You better run out and get another cupboard, you know you're going to need it.

Is our dad rubbing off on your husband? It almost sounds like a comment from dad. Maybe I need to get a small quilt cupboard. I put some of my quilts on my bed so I could show Grandma and Aunt Audrey when they came on Tueday...did sort of a bed turning.
