I have slightly different Lands End shoes/boots in red too. LOVE them. They keep my feet so toasty and they are so comfy...at an affordable price. Yea for LE!
No way!! I was JUST looking at these shoes and pondering if I could justify them. I adore them in red, but the orange is just PERFECT!! And such a great boy you've got there!
lucky you! my son (18 months) just discovered that he loves helping mommy with the laundry. he helps me carry the basket, takes the dry clothes out of the dryer and puts them into the basket, then helps me put the wet things into the dryer.
Just wanted to send you a little note that I finished a Christmas quilt using one of your tutorials. I love the quilt and shared it on my blog today. I linked to your blog in case anyone was interested in the pattern, plus I wanted to make sure you got credit for being so inspiring! THANK YOU!
We would love to make him feel very important at our house any time! I'm not a fan of shoveling. I keep telling Lee I got married so I wouldn't have to do it. Maybe I just need cute boots? ;)
i'm sending my 10 yr old to you! you would think i was asking for a kidney from all the attitude i get just asking him to do his chores... anything extra forget it!
yay! that is so cute about your son. thanks for the link to the cute shoes, they are on sale for $19.99! wohoo! i ordered the green ones. hugs, puglette :o)
Z should come live with me...I have been shoveling off and on for the last month. It doesn't make me feel important. (The word verification for this one is ching)

You are one lucky mom!
That sounds like a really good situation! :) I got snow boot for our girls there too! Always dry and warm :)
I have them in brown...great shoes...wore them today. :)
My 5 year old loves vacuuming. How good is that. No doubt its a phase. Enjoy it while it lasts.
Awesome! Take advantage while it lasts!
Should he need extra snow to shovel, he's feel to come to CANADA and shovel mine.
Sweet. He's welcome here anytime. We like making people feel important about things like laundry and dishes, too! ;)
As we have no snow, vacuuming is the next best thing and apparently doing dishes is pretty cool too!! For now anyway....!
That sounds like one great kid....probably should keep him around. Great pic too.
Tina
Enjoy that phase of his life while you can!
Love the shoes - going to LE now to take a look :D
Great way to have him helping!
Wow that is a really cool shot!
I'm impressed that you got an 8 year old to shovel snow. LOL
hahaha that IS great news! :)
That is great and funny at the same time. Love it.
I don't live where it snows, but I do have two sons who hopefully will say that mowing the lawn makes them feel important! One can dream, right?!
The shoes in the photo look RED, aren't they?
It is good to know how your son feels about snow, considering where you live! LOL!!

my boys have figured out that it's kinda "manly" to chop kindlin and bring in wood to put by the fireplace.

Lucky you! I tell my husband that when he shovels (plows) the snow, he looks really important... just so I don't have to do it!

Looks like he'll be feeling important all winter. ;o) Too cute!
Well I got my boys trained to love cleaning the toilets with those Clorox wands. Best invention ever!

I would like to make your son feel important, too!
Just keep telling him how important he is and you'll never have to shovel snow again. :-)
So cute! And lucky you too. :)
lucky you! I wonder if we could hire your son for some manual labor around here :)
