My husband gives me a hard time about lots of things, but one of his favorite things to tease me about is that my blog is my full time unpaid job. (He's not far off.) With that being said, I'm logging in sick for the week. I've got a cold and I'm going to take the rest of the week off of blogging.
For those of you who asked about where I got the fabric in the previous post, I'll check with my supplier (hee hee) and if it's ok with her, I'll share her info by updating that blog post.
Oh I hope that you feel better soon!! I know what you mean about blogging being a job. And you are so great about posting so frequently!

I just noticed you said "supplier" ... wouldn't "pusher" or "dealer" be a better word?? : )
ReplyDeleteget better soon, amanda jean. and definitely post about that fabric supplier of yours.

ReplyDeleteFeel better soon! Take a nice long rest (well as much as you can with the little ones), and we'll all be here when you come back :-)
ReplyDeleteI wish you lots of hot tea or coffee, chocolate, good books and magazines and well being taking care off... and a good baby-sitter of course!)
ReplyDeleteI hope that will make you feel better soon!
Please get well. I think you have so much talent, your own style and you're very hardworking, so some day you may start your own business using your skills.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteBeing one of the most popular blog sites is a chore. You have no idea how many people want you to get better quickly in order for you to be back here and educating the masses as you do with your blog.
ReplyDeleteWhat will we do for the rest of the week?
Hope you feel better soon!!!
ReplyDeleteHope you get better right now! I can't wait to have you back, Amie :o)

ReplyDeleteTake care. I hope you get better soon!
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better soon!
ReplyDeleteMay you soon feel better! I know exactly who you got that lovely fabric from! I was totally addicted to her shop. I loved to cozy up on Tuesday nights with her knitting group. I have NEVER found another shop that has come close to hers. It was such a home for those of us in Mid-Michigan that loved to sew and knit. When the going out of business sale was on she mentioned that she was going to ban me from purchases soon for fear that my husband would find out just how much fabric I was stashing!
ReplyDeletefeel better, crazy mom!
ReplyDeleteyou deserve a health break, creative minds need to rest and rejuvenate! take care
ReplyDeleteoh feel better Amandajean!
ReplyDeleteI've been sick since last Tuesday. Hoping today I'll finally kick this cold/flu. Take care :)

ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better! This is my first time posting here, however, I am so loving your creativity. I'm a fellow quilter and love your creations.
ReplyDeletep.s. Do you quilt other people's quilts? Or just your own. I'm always looking for people to do my quilts, but don't trust anyone(hence, why I'm not quilting my own; I'm not the best)

ReplyDeletei must say i am very impressed you have stayed gone the whole week. have you taken any peeks? all i can think is you must have a bet with your DH and fabric must be the prize!
ReplyDeletebtw - we are in the middle of making christmas presents right now. my daughter wanted to make a runner for her sister, but neither of us have ever done any machine quilting. so, i pulled up your tutorial and we watched it together a few times. then we went for it. pretty good i'd say for a couple of beginners. it is turning out beautifully! thanks for all the tips!
I hope you get to feeling better soon. We sure miss you!
ReplyDeleteUmmmm...hello...I love you!!! I just found your blog and it makes me so happy! If we are late to church this morning I will have to blame you...I keep saying "I'll just look at one more tutorial"...I must stop now!
ReplyDeleteI am a fairly new quilter and have taken a "simple" approach to my quilting. Your tutorials are perfect. Keep 'em coming! Hope you are feeling better.
Your blog is amazing! However, I have to say as much as I LOVE your blog and admire all of the quilts you’ve made, I can’t help but think that this break is LONG over due! I’m also a mom to young children and I know how time consuming blogging can be. Enjoy your children & husband - we will all get by if those posts come a little less frequently! Hope you feel better!
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself and feel better soon!
