This week they are:
1. Finish my what a bunch of squares quilt. There is just binding left to do.
2. Sew another star wars robe. For Halloween. Oy.
3. This project-vintage crochet blanket-got resurrected recently. I'd like to finish it before Thanksgiving, which would put me at 2 years. I'm obsessive about finishing things, otherwise this would sit.
5. Put together a Frequently Asked Questions post for my blog.
I think it's about time.

i can't wait to see the squares quilt. i love it (even if i can only see one square!)
Good luck getting it all done!!
You've got the same unfinished striped crochet blanket I do! Mine is about 2 years old as well. It takes forever to do one row and I wish I'd never started it, but it looks great!
Sounds like a lot for one week. wow, good luck!
Wow - so many projects - how do you find the time? I'm fairly new to your blog - do you only have one child? Do you work at night after she's in bed? I always feel guilty working on projects at night b/c DH is home and I don't have a lot of time with him. Sigh. When the kiddos grow up, maybe I'll have more time, maybe! I've been trying to find time in the afternoons during the wee one's nap and the older ones' quiet time. I've gotten some finished on my baby quilt - I've abandoned the pink/brown motif and am trying something new. Pop by if you have time and take a peek! I'd be happy to hear your thoughts on this one too.
Can't wait to see your FAQ!

I find I need lists for EVERYTHING anymore. Great projects! Can you post a pic of the vintage crochet blanket when you finish, it looks nice. I'm looking forward to seeing the what a bunch of squares quilt too! That's a cute name for a quilt!
oh good...a list.....i think lists work well...a solid visual makes it so!
I have a list as well, which reminds me it needs to be updated.
I think I just like that I can cross things that are done. It gives me feeling of accomplishment.
Looking forward to pictures of finished projects and FAQs.
You are wonderful no matter what you do. I mean that sincerely! I really really appreciate your blog and all the sharing that you do. My daughter and I are avid readers, we colloborate about your projects and posts all the time. Thanks to You!
Busy busy lady. I like the list idea and have used it before. It helps me focus. I like the comment above...my youngest daughter and I do the very same thing...your ears must ring constantly...don't worry...all that is said is good. Your are so inspirational. I have used many of your ideas and made both of your qal quilts. THANKS!!!
You're busy! I can't wait to see it all finished. It will motivate me to get some of my projects finished.
hi...just wanted to stop by and let you know how much i am enjoying your blog!
i have to pull myself away from it ....to do housework, let alone make a quilt for myself!!
haha
so, thanks.,...and keep up the good work!
Thanks for the Jedi robe post. That would be a cool Christmas gift! I'll add it to the list to check out at JoAnn's when I go (hopefully) this week.
I am looking forward to seeing all of your finished projects! Great job on the list, as well.:)
I can hardly wait to see the new quilt! I'm STILL working on The Costume. I refuse to do anything else until it's finish. Dang. I really need to get it finished so I can do something else.
Good for you for getting organized!
I look forwrad to seeing it all done! I have a shorter to do list and I'll probably get it all done if I stop browsing craft blogs!! I love your squares quilt, can't wait to see it finished.
Ahhh... the FAQ list. You know you are a big time craft blogger when you need to compile a FAQ list. Really. Looking forward to it.
Great stuff! Looking forward to seeing the squares quilt. I finally made my son a Jedi robe for Halloween, too! (see my blog) I didn't buy the pattern, though... the one I could find was $16! That blew my budget, so I just used a version someone had posted online. There are a lot of grown-up Star Wars fans out there who like to make their own costumes! ;)
What a good idea to make a top 5... I think I will do that too! Your projects are beautiful, I still do love that star-wars robe. I will need to remeber that in a couple of years when my kids reach that age. LOL!
whew you have quite a lot of projects there! I've not as much as you but I would love to finish them before the end of the week. Let's got to work!
Good Luck getting it all done! This is a crazy week! My son decided to be a werewolf (store bought-sigh)but my sister decided that I could 'whip-up' her daughter a poodle skirt.that means me buying the pattern, fabric, poodle makings and making the skirt! Oh, and couldnt I do the little petticoat too! GRRR!! I may turn into a werewolf!! Libby
i love the top 5 projects list. i've started accumulating quite the list of things i'm working on as well. i should do the same.
i love the sneak peek of the green squares quilt. that is a great shade of green!
That's a good list! You may want your #2 to be #1 as it's getting close :) Your plenty fast - have fun getting things done!
i love a list...and crossing things off is even better. happy sewing!
doesn't it feel good to make a list just for this week, or so, and only think about that?
Sometimes i start to panic thinking about all the things i want to do, especially with the holidays coming up...eeeek!
I have had to start limiting myself to 5 projects at a time.
I just can't work without a list. I don't always finish what's on one weeks list, but then it gets transfered to next week and so on, It's the ONLY way as far as I'm concerned.
I often wonder if I'll ever have less than 10 things on my list..lol..but that's what keeps me busy and busy for me means happy.
~~Fran...:c)
A little off the topic, but I was admiring your stash in past posts and was wondering, when you buy fabric, how much do you usually buy of each fabric for your stash?
Thanks, Erin in Aus :)
you crochet too?
you are my idol.
Halloween costume? You're almost as bad as me :-)
Yes, I think you need a FAQ post.
Erin in Aus,
I like to buy half yards and fat quarters. if I LOVE the fabric and it's on sale I will buy a yard or two. it's always so hard for me to decide! but i have found with all the white I put in my quilts, a half yard goes a long way.
aj
I am too working on a jedi costume as I type this. Should be done by this evening. I liket to cut things really close since tomorrow is trick-or-treating! My son wanted to be a ghost. E-Z! Nope, no white sheets. Found a nice black one...so he is going as a shadow instead! LOL
always busy with cute projects!
your vintage crochet afghan is so cute. Good luck finishing it before Thanksgiving :)
You have some great projects on the go. Here's to checking them off your list!
I see you've done a binding tutorial, so maybe you've finished the binding on that quilt? I invite you to come and link to my "Finished for Friday" posts. It helps push me to get my UFOs done, and I love looking at what other people have finished.
great tutorial, i am terrified of binding! but you have given me a little ray of hope now. Just love your blog, thank you so much for taking the time and sharing. It must feel great to know that people all over the world log on to see what you are up to. I am in Oman and friend and myself log on each week, thanks!
I love your idea of a top 5 projects!!! I really need to start thinking that way...when I have too many projects started to count, I walk into my studio and get overwhelmed. If I could concentrate on my top 5 each week, I'd probably be more productive. THANK YOU for sharing this idea!!
Great blog, btw, I just found it and am reading back.
