As you can see, this quilt top isn't finished yet, but I wanted to squeeze in one more baby quilt post this week. After having this idea in my head for months, it was nice to finally get started on it. I have 3 more blocks to add as a top row in order to finish the top for a baby size. But...I love this quilt so much that I am so tempted to keep going, make it into a lap size and keep it for myself. I am loving the grey and green and white combination immensely.

Ooohhh! My husband is definitely not going to like all the inspiration (and desire to buy fabric) that I'm getting from you! I so need to try blocks with white borders, they look so sharp.
ReplyDeleteOh, I really like this. I hardly ever do pieced work (always love looking at yours, though), but I'm working on a commission right now that's partly pieced. It convinced me to finally finally make a quilt for own bed that's going to be a similar color scheme. Mostly green for me, and less piecing, but seeing how great your blocks look makes me want to get started!

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh...I just found your blog, and I love it. I just want to stay forever...I am new to quilting. I'm not sure you can actually call what I do quilting, but I am learning. I really like scrappy quilts, they are what made me want to start quilting afterall but I must say... these more simple style quilts you've been making lately are really inspiring! After a few more scrappy ones that I have in my mind and have fabric for I may have to try out some of these!

Great week of baby quilt posts. They are my favorite to make since they give nearly immediate results. I have done several of the Plain Spoken, one in some similar colors as yours.
