green, revisited

so, this is round 2 of the green quilt.
you can view round 1 here, which is no more.

I have never, ever, ever had such a hard time with a quilt. ever.
apparently green scrap fabric is my nemesis.

that being said, I am finally happy with how this is shaping up.

I really like the redesign (and not just because green is my favorite color). Great job!

Much, much better. I like the gradation of values.

Great eye....gradations aren't as easy as they seem, especially with some commercial fabrics!

very pretty! It's turning out so nicely! It sort of reminds me of the crazy quilt with a gradient from Modern Quilt Workshop. Can't wait to see the finished product!

Is love the way this quilt is going to look like a forest, from the dark moss on the bottom to the light shining trough the leaves at the top!

I like it.. seeing though green is your nemesis you'll have to call it the 'riddler' he was green and batmans nemesis..

You are an amazing creative lady. I am not just commenting on your green quilt but for the last few posts. I love every bit of your work. You aren't a fairy are you, cause then you could magic yourself to my house and do all my quilts too.................lol You blow me away.

It looks really good. Kind of camo - in a good way.

I like this one. But, I liked the original version as well. I've always liked the dark to light color thing!

Very nice, although the first one wasn't all bad. I do like how the colors change in value gradually though and of course, greens are a favorite with me.

I liked the first version, too, but agree this one is better! Love the spectrum effect.

I'm sorry this one is giving you such a hard time, but sometimes one's best work comes out of struggle like this. Your new layout is beautiful, and like I've said before, your monochromatic approach is just awesome.

call me crazy (and you've probably finished this one by now - speedy you) but i'd love to see this one with red or purple or something in that unfinished corner!

Totally different than round one. I liked them both, but this one has a serenity and a grown-up-ness about it that the other one did not. well done. It takes courage to rebuild!
