what I have left to add to the modas
gee's whiz quilt (my husband named this one. he doesn't appreciate the gee's bend quilts and he can't figure out why I would want to try to make something similar.)
inspired by these
scrappy 9 patches (some of these blocks-ones not shown-are ugly, I don't know if I should throw them out or try to make them fit in with the not so ugly ones.)
hearts all around
log cabin half-block
I might make one more block and make a doll quilt out of these.
log cabin scrappy challenge
I thought about starting another quilt today...
I have the sickness.
Oh my. All those WIPs make my head spin a little! LOL
ReplyDeleteWow. Now that's a lot on your plate. They're all gorgeous though.
ReplyDeleteand i thought i had a lot of projects going at once...
ReplyDeleteOK they are ALL beautiful, but red crosses, house of girls and gee whiz are just making me SWOON!!! :) i need more projects!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's what I call a lot on the go! LOVE the red crosses.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see that I'm not the only one with a few to many kettles on the stove! LOL They are all gorgeous. I can't wait to see them finished!
ReplyDeleteI think the 'sickness' is quite catching and I don't think there's a cure nor a vaccination for prevention. And I think I have it too. ;-D
ReplyDeleteWow that is amazing! I really need to start a quilt... I made a little one for practice, and keep meaning to actually make a real one but I seem to have a lot of other projects to do too! :)
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a lot of WIP's! I can't wait to see all the finished projects, especially those red crosses.
ReplyDeleteGee's whiz - very, very original.
Oh, but what a lovely sickness it is....
ReplyDeleteholy cow, girl!
ReplyDeletelove the modas especially. don't worry about the ugly scrappy 9-patches. remember mine? many blocks are ugly. they all blend nicely, though. don't try and make it too 'matchy' and it will turn out great.
Nine? NINE?!?!?!?
ReplyDeleteYou're amazing. I can't finish one ...
There are a few words that come to mind when I see your "work in progress'".....WOW....crazy girl....beautiful.....anticipation for seeing them done! All simply gorgeous.....good work!
ReplyDeleteWow, 9 on the go?? That's impressive.
ReplyDeletethat is one hell of a WIP post. whew! i will take one of each please!! so cool! i think i have that many in my brain right now, but that is as far as they have gotten!
ReplyDeleteYUM. I've never seen a red cross pattern before- it's great!
ReplyDeleteYou've got plenty to keep you busy :)
ReplyDeleteWow, nine... that will keep you busy for some time! I adore your red log cabin half blocks!
ReplyDeleteyou never cease to amaze me! you are seriously so talented. thanks for sharing all of your beautiful projects :)
ReplyDeleteWOW! Someone with the same affliction as me! The constant desire to start something new! All of these quilts look fantastic! I can't wait to see them finished!
ReplyDeleteGosh, my projects are all in my head spinning, but having all that actually cut out and on the go!! Where do you manage to store them all?
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely though and all so different. What fun.
Wow! I don't know if I could pick a favourite. They're all so lovely. That's a lot of creativity on the go... thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteIndeed lots going on. Are you trying to set a record?
ReplyDeleteI'm curious to see what (if anything) will go between the red crosses.
impressive seem like a passive word to use when it comes to you ....but I'me very impressed. Where do you find the time?
ReplyDeleteNINE!!! You know what it is? You're so creative that when you get a new idea you have to go with it whether the other ones are done or not. Make sense to me. They all look great!
ReplyDeleteOk, you have a lot of wip's. But how many have you finished? Many. I know you are very productive. I love the red crosses, send them to me if you're not going to use them! Haha. I also love the red log cabins and the last scrappy one. I SO want to start on a (at least one) big quilt NOW. But I have some smaller stuff I've got to do first. Go to.
ReplyDeleteWOW!!!
ReplyDeleteI think the nine patch is my favorite so far.
ReplyDeleteI love that you have 9 quilts in progress. You SO have the sickness!
