Finally, I've made some progress on my bright quilt.
My math calculations for the triangles seem to be accurate. I'm amazed. (A lot of math goes into figuring out what size to cut them.)
Now, I am holding my breath to see if I can actually finish this entire quilt by Sunday.
Fun to have a nice bright quilt. I want to make a bright quilt too...
ReplyDeleteYikes - by Sunday! Good luck! Looks like it will be really cute when its done!

ReplyDeletecan i tel you how jealous i am of your talent?! can't wait to see that quilt finished!
ReplyDeletehow do you do it so fast? i am amazed!
ReplyDeleteHi Amanda,
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about the maths. I wish I'd paid more attention at school! Recently I needed to cut a patch with a certain angle on it, and hunted high and low for a protractor. I don't know how many geometry sets have been through this house (probably in double figures), but I couldn't locate any of them. Then, hurray! I found a rather forlorn protractor, and what's more, remebered how to use it. the pieces were accurately cut and all is well. Never thought at 56 I would ever need to find a protractor again!
Just goes to show how good quilting is for your brain!
