I don't know why I am going to admit this, but the old cover was taped together. Yes, taped. It was a joy to be able to throw the old cover away. After I used it for a pattern, of course.
So cute!! And now you can just throw it in the wash! Very clever! I love the idea of kid stuff matching the rest of my house...as much as possible anyway. Another great idea!!
Oh, yeah, this is fabulous! I must admit that, not being a mother myself, I often cringe when I see other people's baby furniture, since it is usually so functional but not so attractive. You have turned this hugh chair into a piece of art! That quilted pad is just perfect. I love this mini-series you've got going on.
Our highchair is in tatters too but I could never do anything like that... far too nice for baby food. C'mon admitt it, you only put that on when you have guests, right? please?
That is the cutest! I'm finding so many neat things to do for our baby on the way! I love this idea of yours! You are clever!

ReplyDeleteThis is so great. I would never have thought of personalizing a high chair like that...so clever!
