It has been used to the point of being terribly worn.

This log cabin is going to be amazing. Years later it was pretty dirty and I no longer used polyester batting, so I took out the bit of hand quilting I had done, removed the basting, and washed the backing and the top. I haven't got to quilting it yet, but this time I will be free motion machine quilting it and replacing the batting with 80/20. I will be checking in to see your progress! It is going to be stunning!patty a.https://www.blogger.com/profile/01861433552460661701noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37018101.post-51867462459378722982016-12-15T07:22:08.869-06:002016-12-15T07:22:08.869-06:00Wowsers! It's one thing to make wonky log cabin blocks where almost any size log can be added but these require extra cutting (and hence make more scraps). I'm cheering you on! I am ready to do this next year too. I have tons of fabric that need to be cut up and I just hate to do it. Your quilt is amazing and I'm so glad you posted this picture, it's my kind of quilt and I have the fabric for it.
