(Honestly,...I've never bought an antique quilt. (Honestly, I wouldn't even know what a good price for one would be!) It seems like such an interesting handmade object to purchase. That's why that square is so amazing. And how they outlined each "diamond" with the red hexies. That's resourcefulness! What a work of art. I ended up sewing tulle on top of them to protect the areas and stitching up some tears on the back. It was well worth the effort and my friend is very happy to be able to display his beloved quilt.
