I just ordered a jelly roll of merry and bright and will be making pillows for my mom and MIL for gifts. I'm not sure what pattern to use yet, but I might just cut 2.5" squares and do a charm layout, similar to what you did here, only smaller :)

thanks so much for all the inspiration!Vickihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10088213674978515287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37018101.post-31767520378559591402009-01-07T07:22:00.000-06:002009-01-07T07:22:00.000-06:00Christine Thomas, there are 3 packs of Merry and Br...Christine Thomas,

there are 3 packs of Merry and Bright and 2 packs of Holly Jolly in this quilt. i LOVE these fabrics, too. :)

ajAmanda Jeanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06311818385469850186noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37018101.post-9455762934464080632009-01-06T23:18:00.000-06:002009-01-06T23:18:00.000-06:00Just found your blog tonight. I actually haven't finished a quilt in 5 years and when I saw your Christmas one, I wanted to have a Christmas one of my own! I have made it in a different style then yours, but of course I got the idea from you! I made mine like the Christmas coins one you made for the auction. Your binding tutorial was very very helpful too, I have only bound by wrapping the backing fabric around before, but this binding is turning out awesome!! Thank you so much for the inspiration you have given me and all the wonderful things you share with this blog!!

Rachel
athenagwis at hotmail . comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37018101.post-88960802867194145472008-12-12T19:46:00.000-06:002008-12-12T19:46:00.000-06:00Beautiful quilt!Beautiful quilt!dlynthomashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15023365999838893536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37018101.post-52523990831664465822008-12-08T13:40:00.000-06:002008-12-08T13:40:00.000-06:00I am officially motivated to start my own christma...I am officially motivated to start my own christmas quilt!!!
