making quilt along plans

I am working on another scrap vortex quilt. You know, because I need two quilts that nearly cover my house completely...one just won't do! Ha!
Actually, I'm planning to make an easy-to-replicate layout, so I can host a scrap vortex quilt along this summer. Wouldn't that be fun? If you'd like to join me, start saving your scraps! The more the better!
I hope that I never tire of scrap quilting. I think it's a gift, in a lot of ways, to love scraps as much as I do. It's so practical and thrifty....it's so satisfying to use it all! The end product is pretty great, too!
Aren't those little ninjas cute??? I'm fairly certain that it's going to be one of my very favorite parts of the quilt!

  3. I can't help seeing a map of the USA in the way you have the work in progress laid out on your design wall...a map quilt would be awesome. A scrap map lap (quilt) maybe?!
