quiet Christmas quilt top

Welcome to finish it up Friday! I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!
I'm a little late in posting today because I was busy sewing together my quilt top! This morning it was in a few hundred pieces....now I'm happy to say, it's in quilt top form. I love how subtle it is! It's all from the stash, with the exception of this one fabric.
My friend Tara was sweet enough to buy and send this awesome Dear Stella print to me! You KNOW you have a good friend when they will purchase fabric for you so you don't break your fabric fast. Thanks, Tara! This quilt is all the better because of it!
The squares are 5" cut, 4.5" finished. There are a LOT of polka dots in this quilt. Just the way I like it!
The quilt top is 63" x 90". I figured I might as well make it a twin size so we can all cover up on the couch with it at one time. :)

Now it's your turn! Please link up your finishes for the week! Thanks for joining me for finish it up Friday!

  4. That station wagon and tree fabric from your friend is adorable! Lucky you :) I like how you used red and green non-Christmas fabrics (with the exception of the new one); that's what I prefer to do, too--subtle, but still very festive.

  17. Love this Christmas-y quilt in lighter tones and love, love the darling fabric from your friend! Thanks for all your wonderful blog posts and Link parties. For a long time I didn't link up with you because there were no pictures but when I finally did, I found out it was a surprise to click on each link (like a wrapped present) and even more surprised to find that you generate more traffic than all the others put together most of the time! Happy New Year (and Merry Christmas yesterday)!
