giveaway

Today I'm pleased to be hosting a little fabric giveaway, courtesy of Pat Bravo.
Up for grabs are two different bundles...(10 fat quarters each) in some of my favorite colors ever!
Aren't they so pretty? I know from experience that Art Gallery fabrics are super soft and great to work with!

If you would like to be in the drawing, please leave me a comment. One per person please. In your comment, I'd love to hear if you have any New Year's eve plans. Or else you can tell me something you are looking forward to next year. I'll plan to pick two winners on Monday.

I'd like to take the time to say a big THANK YOU to each and every one of you for reading my little blog, leaving such wonderful comments and for all your encouragement this past year. I appreciate it very, very much! xoxo

Hope you have a wonderful and safe New Year's!

Wow, thanks for the chance. And I truly love reading your blog . . . thanks for the time and effort you spend to share your quilty adventures with all of us.
We're boring around here and will likely just go to bed at our normal time. Those greens would look awesome in a "tree" quilt I've wanted to make for so long. Thanks again!

New Years Eve - a quiet evening spent with my significant other, then New Years Day - the start of my 'fabric fasting'. I've resolved to try to use mostly from my stash before buying anymore. My floor to ceiling fabric cabinet is overflowing, and that's not to mention all the wips hiding in the closet. You've been an inspiration to me - these past several months, I've been able to finish up some wips. I've taken pictures of all my wips and will hang them in my sewing room, to remind me of my commitment to finish them. I plan to start yet another project - a special quilt for my niece - with Moda 'puttin on the ritz' charms. I can hardly wait to start it! Enjoy your family and have a prosperous new year!

Julie said...

Looking forward to a quiet NYE ... watch a movie or two, snack on nibbles and pop the cork on some champagne when the clock strikes midnight! Looking forward to a happy, healthy 2012!

My plans for New Years is simple and quiet. I will be staying in with my hubby... but I will be thinking of my 2011 and dreaming for 2012. We would be more inclined to go out, however because I am trying to conceive (not fun being an infertile I tell you that), I have cut out all alcohol, sugar and caffeine (which is killing me because I love tea!)... so it wouldn't be much fun to go out if we can't partake in the festivities.

My hope for 2012... To be blessed with a healthy and normal pregnancy, it's all I want.

Wishing everyone a safe and happy New Years, may 2012 bring you your heart's desires!!! xoxoxxo

New Years Eve? we do what we do every year: sit together with the kids and watch movies. 15 min before midnight we watch "dinner for one" - a tradition on the Austrian television - and than we start the new year with a delicious chocolate fondue with lots of fruits.

The biggest plan for 2012 is the star quilt for the wedding of a lovely friend. I never did such a big quilt and hope it works out fine ...

I wish you a lovely new years eve and a good start into 2012!

First off - love the blog and love your tutorials. Thanks!

I"m on call this weekend so from last night when I left work at 6 until Tuesday morning at 8 when we all go back, I'm on call all day and night. Was lucky last night didn't have to go in but still 3 days and nights to go. I'm enjoying my coffee until I have to go in in about an hour. The up side of call weekends is that I spend the time saying "I"ll get this done first then I'll hit this next real quick before I get called in" and usually get a ton of stuff done. Just what New Years weekend is for. I hope to get the tree down, closets cleaned out, my sewing room organized, etc.

Happy New Years to you!

Love the fabrics! As for New Year's Eve, just spending a quiet evening at home, maybe finish taking down the Christmas tree - ready to start a new quilt!

Beautiful fabric! So bright and fresh .... Happy New Year! I can't wait to start the New Year with some new quilting projects... want to do a much better job of keeping track of what I do accomplish in the sewing room this year...

This New Year's Eve will hopefully be spent sewing while my husband will watch numerous football games. I plan to make some fun snack foods to make it at least a little festive.
Wishing you the best in the new year!

New Year's eve we are going out with good friends, then I'll be hosting a brunch on New Year's day.

I'd love to win the pink bundle, they are just the right color for a new quilt I need to start for a friends daughter.

My plans for the new year include starting work on my daughter Kate's wedding quilt. She has selected a contemporary pattern in black and white prints with shots of vibrant blue and green throughout - and the green bundle will fit in perfectly! I have to hurry - Kate got married in June and is pushing me to finish it before I start making baby quilts! Happy New Year to you, Crazy Mom!

beautiful fabric!!
We never do anything on NYE. Once my kids started going out, I wanted to be by a phone in case one of them called. Well, now there are cell phones, but we still don't go out. I love putting on my jammies early and watching Turner Classic Movies if there is a good one on.
Everyone have a safe and wonderful New Year!

Oh, I lurve, lurve, lurve Pat Bravo!

Today, I am making a semolina cake that calls for 1 1/2 pounds of butter and 22 eggs (yeah, you read right). It's for my brother to take home to the UK. A very traditional eurasian cake.

Then I am heading to a friend's place for a Pre- New Year party event and then to my sister's place for an pyjama and pizza party to ring in the new year.

Happy New Year to you and yours. i love your blog and often turn to you for inspiration.

Diane

We are going to a wedding, then hanging out with our little family. For the new year, I've joined a group where we are encouraging each other to finish up our UFOs. I'm excited to take that (creativity-squelching) guilt away and show of my creations!

Happy New Year! Love the beautiful bundles of fabric and like so many of us here I would love to win them but I feel as if I win each time I come to your blog, I’m new to quilting and your blog always makes me feel that “I can do this” with less fear and more Fun! So thank you for a great 2011 and my wish for 2012 is continued good health so I can learn this wonderful craft and make all the different types of quilts that I have on my wish list.
P.S. I’m staying home with the “hubs” and being grateful for the health of our 6 grandchildren.
