I hadn't finished the post but stopped to think and felt immediately that you should have something red on the backside and came to the conclusion that a strong red with little white dots should have personality enough to be a great backing for the web. Then I don't know... white with little red dots around the edges? Or that might be too bleak. I have no idea but I really think red with white dots as backing.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37018101.post-39838026251733593352009-09-27T19:11:50.768-05:002009-09-27T19:11:50.768-05:00Okay, I admit that I did not read all 64 comments ...Okay, I admit that I did not read all 64 comments before I made mine so forgive me if I repeat what someone else has said. You have used a spiderweb pattern for top. I would look for a cute spider pattern--a small, all over pattern--to compliment the spiderweb on the top. You know, something at a distance that will read close to a solid but will have a wonderful surprise when you look closer. With Halloween coming up you should be able to find something cute.Quilt or Dyehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07194932090799851056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37018101.post-22125743982331561262009-09-27T13:32:52.188-05:002009-09-27T13:32:52.188-05:00I think a polka dot backing or simple (monochromat...I think a polka dot backing or simple (monochromatic) floral might look nice on the back. Off the top of my head I also thought aqua or mint green -- either a solid or the polka dot. Honestly, I wouldn't do something as busy as a floral since you have so much going on on the front (which I LOVE!). Whenever I have a complex quilt, I try to go with a simpler back. Just me though. xoJessica Christensenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10787149198274991713noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37018101.post-18741221357127388082009-09-26T08:00:47.378-05:002009-09-26T08:00:47.378-05:00Oi amiga.
