I have to tell ...OK So now I am down to Sept 08. I have to tell you that your blog is going to be one of my favorite. It will probably be second on my favorite list. First goes to Pat of Pattilou's. She is a quilting friend I met online and finally got a chance to meet her face to face. Pat does 95% of her quilting for charity. She is one fantastic lady.

When I first started I went by some simple patterns, mostly cause I was so new to quilting. Then I broadened out and started to modify the patterns. Found that I liked the challenge more. Then Pat ( who sent me several boxes of scraps, and three other ladies also sent me several boxes of scraps ) got me started on strings and crumbs. All my quilting material is in storage in Florida. Hope to get it early next year. Then I found a little quilt store here locally and discovered the Moda fabric. Love it. So of course I had to start getting some as my money would allow. I found Bonnies site and that helped again.

So back to the original story line. I have tons of quilting blogs that I look at and keep linking to more and more. That is how I got to you. From KC's blog to here.

I have really enjoyed what you are doing. It has given me so many idea's. And it has so much helpful info too.

Just to let you know Your stash is small compared to some out there in blogland. So don't worry about it. Go get some more so you can catch up. LOLOL When I think of how much I have in storage and the fact that I am 64 years old, I wonder if I can ever use it up in my lifetime. Plus what I have collected here already. Makes my head hurt.

I know this is sort of a long posting but I just had to tell you how much I am enjoying your blog. Am going to read all the way to the beginning, in between working on a new quilt. Well, several that are a work in progress.LindaSuehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08036032268931531402noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37018101.post-76898265241110237452011-10-11T10:26:18.191-05:002011-10-11T10:26:18.191-05:00I did a post last night and for some reason it did...I did a post last night and for some reason it didn't take. Oh well, the life of the internet.

I had a question, do you use your walking foot for quilting? I also said I was reading your blog from now to the beginning. I am down to July 09. Then decided to look at your side bar and saw the tut on free motion quilting. So it is the darning foot you use. I have a walking foot but no darning foot, darnit Lol.

I have been quilting for over 20 years now and am enjoying your blog. Always wanting to learn new ways and things.

I have a blog CreationsbyLSM if you care to look. Haven't been blogging in awhile.

So, what can I use my walking foot for?

ThanksLindaSuehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08036032268931531402noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37018101.post-31758747341802536342011-10-11T08:28:32.676-05:002011-10-11T08:28:32.676-05:00What a great little quilt! What a great little quilt!Peggyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06079854415508985725noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37018101.post-66752749107854932932011-10-11T07:08:01.375-05:002011-10-11T07:08:01.375-05:00Know what I saw? It can be so hard to quilt for boys, or to make stuff for walls, especially if you don't want to go with Disney or sports! But your mini would be darling in a boys room!
