I asked my oldest why she doesn't want to learn to quilt and she said that if she ever needs a quilt, she just needs to ask me and I will have one done in a jiffy. Why should she bother to learn when I can make one so much faster? She is learning to sew, so there is some hope. My younger daughter makes beautiful quilts but says that sewing hurts her back too much. It makes me so sad that neither one loves quilting as much as I do. I miss the days when they loved to spend time with me. :(marilynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00788813592882858065noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37018101.post-31438374807267665822012-06-23T15:29:49.790-05:002012-06-23T15:29:49.790-05:00That picture of the hands is just too precious. But he wanted to do it and I didn't want to discourage him by saying, "Sorry, you're a bit young." It took us three sewing sessions because of short attention spans, but he was SO proud of it!Live a Colorful Lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06258513987513144582noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37018101.post-87650575513173575562012-06-23T09:57:20.267-05:002012-06-23T09:57:20.267-05:00So great that she wants to sew.
