It's finally time to explain why I've gone pincushion crazy. (As if I need an excuse, right?) I'm packing all these up to take to Quilt Con this week for a super duper giveaway! If you would like a pincushion, come say hello to me at Quilt Con! All that I ask for in exchange is that you show me a photo of something that you've made from one of my patterns, tutorials, fabric, one of my books, etc. I plan to do the giveaway over two days....Thursday and Friday. (I will have about half of the pincushions with me each day.) The giveaway is while supplies last, obviously.
I originally wanted to make 100, but I'm going to be happy with my 75, I guess. I don't think I would be able to carry 100 of them, anyway! :) I hope to meet you there!
Happy Monday to you!
Not sure how or where to post a photo. I used your Vortex tutorial with Christmas fabrics. Absolutely love it😍
ReplyDeleteHi Anne Dirks,
ReplyDeleteI tried to clarify my text in the post... I'm sorry it wasn't clear. If you see me at quilt con, show me the photo, I will give you a pincushion at that time. I hope that makes sense! I hope to see you there. :)

That's the best trade ever! Hope you enjoy. Maybe you can take a picture with each person and make a photo collage after. Digital scraps:)
ReplyDeleteI love this. Such a neat idea, and I love that you're giving a piece of you. :) Wish I were going!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea, hats off to you. I crochet double pot holders and give them away. Actually I make them and send them on vacation with my friends to give away in other countries. I have made way over a 1000 and enjoyed giving them a loving home. I took 30 sets to Cuba at Christmas, it gave me warm fuzziness just watching the WOW look on everyone's faces when I gave them out.I gave them out to staff and friends I made along the way. Giving is gift of hearts and remember to enjoy each day's gift.
ReplyDeleteHave a great time at Quilt Con. Sadly, I will not be there, but am a bit jealous of those that will be attending. Shipping notice says your book I ordered is in my home town. No mail delivery today, so anxious for tomorrow. Thanks for a great blog and patterns.
ReplyDeleteWhat a brilliant idea! If I were going (boo-hoo) I'd ask you to autograph the pincushion, so if you really want to boost up the ante, bring a sharpie. Regardless, it would be a blast to meet you (and a few other quilt celebs). Enjoy the convention!
ReplyDeleteBUMMER!!! I won't be there until Saturday. :o((

ReplyDeleteLove your use of all "bits" of fabric! Do you just use polyfil in all of them or do you have other stuffings? I'm "making" fabric this month as my using up the bits and pieces and am going to keep the "cuties" for pincushions....
